6 Steps to the Vibrational Ladder of Purpose -which step are you on?

Posted Feb 22, 2010 11:34 AM
I am writing this while flying over Los Angeles to an event
and then getting ready to tape a PBS show with Kim Kiyosaki.

According to a popular poll on BraveHeartWomen.com, the most
common driving force for most women is to develop their purpose.
Interestingly enough, developing purpose ranked higher than
prosperity, self esteem, and even women bringing change to the world.

I must say that I’m not surprised! Purpose is also my driving force,
it's my inspiration.... When the band of purpose is alive, I can't
help but dance... my soul is drunk with joy, my heart sings, and my
mind serves my heart & soul.

I have found that there is a specific vibrational ladder to purpose.
If I stay in the beginning steps, I hang onto those low vibrations,
but if I go towards the higher steps, I am infused with much higher
vibrations. When it comes to purpose, my drug of choice is one that
gives me the biggest high!

My purpose is: To Rise up to my next potential, to Release what has
so far gotten in my way, to Restore the magnificence of myself back
into my Self, and to Re-invent my Self so that I continuously evolve
into the Woman that inspires me.

I follow my purpose... Why?

* Do I need to? No! Because need is the offspring of mother lack
* Do I have to? No, because 'having to' is only there due to ego
* Do I want to? That's better...but still not 'great enough' for
me to ride its wave of destiny
* Do I choose to? Oh I can feel the 'will' ... Yet the will is a
tree in the garden of the mind...and the mind is my choice for
the vice-president of my world.
* Do I love to? Yes... I can see my purpose is putting on its
running shoes now!

I follow my purpose because...

* I am called to.... Yes Yes Yes...
That hit the g-spot of my Soul!

My soul is drunk in joy; my heart in singing, my mind serves
my heart & soul...

I am now at the top of the vibrational ladder of purpose where
the view is magnificent, where I receive inspiration, and where
I take effortless action.

What about you? Where are you on the vibrational ladder of purpose?

Wow! Ellie, I think maybe we were twins separated at birth. Out of the 100's of trainers I have listened to, purchases programs and attended events over the last 8 years of being an entrepreneur- your material resonates with me that inspires change on cellular level.

I think I have been on the "have to" rung of the ladder. I am on my way to the "called". It is an exciting and joy filled journey with your help- thank you for all that you do!

Love,
Christine
Through tremendous uncertainty, fresh possibilities exist. My purpose is to help others help themselves to understand and live this concept. I realize all my career and life experience up until this time has lead to this clarity of purpose. And, for the first time in my career, I'm allowing it to unfold in its own time with an innate knowing/trust in this truth. It IS FREEDOM and so, there is no need to push, just to be open to the many collaborative opportunities that show up when I direct my efforts to serve others from purpose. Thank you for creating this community.

Bless you Ellie for that wonderful depiction of the vibrational ladder of purpose. Thank you Braveheart women for also sharing your stories.:)

Due to a lifesaving event, I've been in the "what is my purpose" space for months. I'm so thankful to finally see that I am not alone in my journey.

With Much Appreciation,
Tone
Ellie,

Thank you for such a beautifully succinct way of describing purpose. I have days as a yoga teacher, a "job" that I completely love, when I don't feel like teaching, but when I step out of my small self and ask that something greater do the teaching for me, I always end up teaching an amazing class, but also in the process, being taught myself. I let the divine work through me and it isn't work anymore. If I can just do that in everything in my life, I will have learned one of life's biggest lessons - to always be in a state of JOY!

What a wonderfully inspirational view of why I am determined to write my articles, connect with others online, build an online presence, promote my teleseminars and books, work with private clients.
I am being called to do so - and - I love doing it.
Good enough reasons for me. And the money is natrualy flowing from me to others and back to me in a spiral of love and mutual inspiration.

Hi Ellie:

Thank you for the inspirational words. Presently I am at the beginning steps of the vibrational ladder, which is fine with me at this moment in my life. I am on this amazing journey of reaching out from the darkness and awakening to who I am, discovering who this woman is, who "me" is and what my purpose in life is and why I was given the gift of life on this earth. It is a journey of discovery that I welcome with an open heart and an open mind and am so excited about the endless possibilities that life has to offer!

Blessings to you and to all the BraveHeart Women

Hello Ellie:

Thank you so much for just being alive and being an inspiration to me!

As I venture out of my cocoon, I'm so grateful to have found this community.

Why am I following my purpose? I haven't a clue. But I felt passion moving back into my spirit when I walked into an animal shelter the other day to sign up for volunteer work.

And there must be hope, if I’ve taken to deep breathing again, gazing at trees and hearing rain splatter on my window.

I'm content to leave the WHYS’ on the shelf right now, but ah, how sweet it is to smell purpose around the corner!
Aloha Ellie,
This is such a great visual, the ladder, I never thought of it this way.
I have been called to fulfill my purpose for many years. I follow this call because, it is painful not to listen to my inner wisdom. I feel at one when I am living my purpose and lost when I stop. Although, I like everyone else, have self-doubt, in this area I have none. I am very grateful to know my calling and feel the joy of sharing and growing with others. Braveheart has given me the golden opportunity to fulfill my purpose on a larger platform than before, and I am very grateful to you and all my Braveheart sisters. Together we will grow in clarity, Radha
Dear Ellie,

I follow my purpose because…

* I am called to.... Yes Yes Yes... That hit the g-spot of my Soul!

Absolutely!!! I am where I am on the vibrational ladder of purpose BECAUSE I followed the calling to my purpose which has brought clarity to my passion. The view is magnificent…where inspiration motivates me to take effortless inspiration in action.

My heart is open and my soul sings in joy….and in peace.

In Gratitude for You and your vision…. :-x

Dear Ellie,

cool...a PBS show....excellent!!!B-)

I often think of this ladder and where I am on it.....just kind of checking myself....seeing where my inspiration is coming from...especially when something weird is going on]:)...I'll find myself possibly even off the ladder of my purpose entirely. I'm on some ladder I feel "I should " be on.....or maybe even someone elses ladder.:O

While most often I reside on the "I'm called to" rung, if I'm not there....I am nowhere in between....I'm on the "I need to" or as I said even off the ladder. I am aware of this when it happens...and it feels urgent....fear...anxiety....and it's not very fun anymore.?:|

I check myself...and step back up the ladder.:8} For me, it is about awareness. I thought that when I was "on purpose" and feeling that I was answering "my calling" I wouldn't have the challenges that I do with ego and fear etc..?:|the difference for me now is that I am aware and I choose to take "steps" to release the energy that weighs me back down the ladder.....:-D

I may go up and down but I'm always moving....and I know where I am.

Have fun!:)

Love:-x

I too am new to BraveHeart Women and I am so excited to have found you and this community of women. I had worked for the same company in wireless business sales for nearly 20 years when my best friend, Cindy invited me to participate in her dream... She invited me to take a chance and do something that would allow me to leave a better legacy. I had always wanted to do something that touched peoples lives...something that inspired people...I was a top sales woman for many years but I didn't really feel like I was being the best "role model" for my young daughter. She was learning that work was more important than family...work took priority over time with her ...and unfortunately time with my husband, family and friends. I knew I needed to "Pause" and start to really focus on what was truly important to me ...

With the support of my wonderful husband Jim, Cindy and I started a company www.meaningtopause.com
We both knew that visual reminders were not enough to give us that "nudge" throughout the day to Pause, re-frame our thoughts and be more mindful of the present moment... so we created bracelets that would provide a private gentle vibration every 90 minutes... We know that there are infinite ways people will choose to use their pauses throughout the day... I feel truly blessed to be able to provide people with a tool ...something that really allows people to live their very best life now..today..this moment ...

Recently, my daughter (now 7) and I were driving to school when my bracelet vibrated and I touched it and looked at her in the back seat... you know what she said to me? "So,..... what are you going to do with your pause mom?" :-x

I hope that I can help to inspire other women to follow their dreams. I look forward to meeting more BraveHeart women and hearing their stories too! Krizia Irish
The day my first child was born, I knew I had found my "purpose." i was 31 yrs old and had a career as a CPA, but nothing could compare to motherhood. The second son was born, and again, I was affirmed. I gave up career because my purpose of being a mom was so strong. Now they are grown, and again, I feel the calling of a purpose. It occurs to me that we have different purposes and callings at different times in our lives. I now believe we can be free to address as many callings as our life script speaks to us. It's like the changing of the seasons which each have their purpose. I no longer believe we have that one one special calling, but that we may have several or many in one lifetime. And it all boils down to love. Love happens throughout our lives, if we are present to feel, see, and hear it. And our calling at all times is about manifesting that special love that is ours and only ours to give.

With love, Sheila
Hey Ellie,

"Break a Leg" re: PBS!

Never thought of fulfilling my passion and purpose as a calling but it makes sense.

I have been told many times that It appears I cannot help but act upon my passion, compassion and purpose in life.

Kinda sounds like I am some one who is answering a calling...:-D

w/Love,
Anne
Hi Ellie,

Beautiful picture you paint of the vibrational ladder! :)

For me, the ladder has been illusive because I have been hearing the 'Call' for some time now. It is a call that thrills me, fits me like the golden slipper and the music that sings in and through me, I have known forever.

Following my purpose however, has been a rather zig-zag line at times, not quite actualizing the manifestation of it and at the same time the 'carrot' so close that I kept following its lead.

Now that I am here at BraveHeart, I feel the excellent guidance I have received brings me ever closer to stepping fully into my 'purpose-shoes'!

With gratitude and love to you for taking the lead for us~ :-x
