Woman In The Mirror...& our own BraveHeart Woman wrote MJ's song!

Posted Aug 31, 2009 12:20 PM
Happy Monday BraveHeart Women:

I saw a woman in the mirror today.
She caught my eye as I rushed to start the day.
She was different, so I asked her what had changed in her eyes?
She said she had fully accepted her life and all that's in it...
I gave that woman a smile as I left her at the mirror today.
I'll see her again soon and I'm curious to see how she'll continue to grow & change.
The sun is shining, the day is brand new...I'm humming with joy because I know that it's all good!

p.s. Did you know that Michael Jackson's song 'Man in the Mirror" was written by Oscar Nominated Song Writer & our own BraveHeart Woman Siedah Garrett?
She is also one of your new BraveHeart View hosts...
Take a look at her singing 'The Man in Mirror" recently...

RISE with Siedah on Oct 2nd & 3rd...

Looking forward to giving you a hug @ RISE,

Ellie

I could Ditto on Everyone's comments as every word that was sung, every feeling that was felt IS all about taking a look at ourselves and Making a Change!

Siedah didn't really know at the time she wrote this song what an Impact she would make on the world through Michael. Such a Beautiful Emotional Blessing!

His Music was his soul that he so passionately gave selflessly to the World to truly try to make it a Better Place!

Thank you Ellie for going way beyond your Lofty Dreams. You have and are and will continue to impact millions of women around the world!

Although there may be silence from time to time you need to know you are very much appreciated and Loved!

With Heart Felt Gratitude Always, Charmaine
Dear Ellie,

Thank for gathering so many powerful women who have made such dynamic contributions to so many lives as a gift for us.

I'm with Amy on the lines that Siedah delivered on growth and change and with Dr. Sugar on Siedah's words on acceptance.

The Agape Choir isn't hard on the ears and Heart either!!

I have the deepest gratitude for you Ellie, that our paths have crossed in this lifetime is a blessing.

Ellie,

Once again I am touched by the apparent sadness of a life cut short... and feeling the questions and the heavy load he carried within...and wanting to make the most of my own life.

Siedah has created and delivered a beautiful tribute to someone with so much to respect and a legacy of spectacular music. May he rest is peace.

Linda

Hi Ellie,

Thank you so much for posting this! I had no idea that Siedah Garrett wrote this phenomenal song. Watching the video started the tears off again - I don't think I'll ever get over MJ's death, but what a wonderful revelation that a Braveheart Woman wrote THAT awesome, inspiring, Braveheart song!!!

Many, many, thanks.
