Saturday Spin

Conscious curiosity rules a lot of my thinking process, although rules may not be the right word. It's more like, I prefer curiosity about things, people, events, anomalies, possibilities over hypothesizing or commenting on the most publicized discussions of the day.

The following are a few topics that crossed my curiosity meter this week.

A news story got my attention this week, Marijuana, Inc.on CNN: http://www.cnbc.com/id/28675227/. This issue is getting a lot of attention and affects a surprising number of people, from those who use cannabis for pain management, to Michael Phelps, to homebased business entrepreneurs. Whatever your view on this issue, it is a volatile one.

Facebook News: Oprah featured Mark Zuckerberg (who recently joined Twitter), the creator of Facebook to unveil the facelift on her show Friday. Oprah has a New Facebook Page for her show, so join me in being a fan at http://www.facebook.com/oprahwinfreyshow! People news: Tiger Woods is back in the game after surgery. My husband's favorite athlete made his golfing comeback. Now a father of two young children, http://www.tigerwoods.com/defaultflash.sps, with his father passing on just a few short years ago, Tiger has matured into a soul that is a balanced winner!
