Do you find yourself worrying about hypothetical situations that have not and in all likelihood will not occur? When we focus on the negative circumstances and outcomes we create an environment where we can easily attract the very thing that we are attempting to avoid.
The alignment with worry and lower vibrational energies also has the ability to repel the very outcomes we desire. So how do we rein in the worry and anxiety? Begin by reminding yourself that no one knows the full future, what it will bring and then revisit your situation.
This time instead of focusing on the elements out of your control, focus your attention on what you can do right now. Rather quickly when we focus on action, and things that we have control over we shift back into a space where we see our future is destined to be filled with amazing things.
When we set worries to the side, in favor of a more realistic outcome, we free up mental and emmotional energy that can be used to see and develop solutions to the challenges we all mustface. We shed light on a previously unlit path, hidden by our worries, that now offers solutions, which is truly what we were seeking all along.
When my children were little, there was a book the absolutley loved called StarBright Meditations by Maureen Garth. This book is a collection of guided meditations (that I read to them each night before they went to bed). The beginning of each meditation had the children imagine themselves entering a beautiful garden, where all their adventures began. Prior to entering the garden, just outside the gate was the "Worry Tree". It was a very large, strong, beautiful tree. It's job was to "hold" any worries, mishaps, misunderstandings, harsh words, any thing that you were concerned about. Each worry or concern is pinned up or palced on the branches of the Worry Tree. The Worry Tree will hold onto any of these and keep them safe and if you decide to release them, the Worry Tree will take care of releasing them as well.
So..maybe you find a picture or photo of a tree (lots to choose from on google images) . Place it next to your bed perhaps in a nice frame...each night before you go to sleep...give your worries to Your Worry Tree, to look after and lighten your load.
Even better, place a simple photo of Your Worry Tree, to look at often in the palces you frequently occupy and each time you see the photo, remind yourself that the "Worry Tree" is waiting to be of service to you.
