It was such an honour to meet you soul to soul at rise ,you are such an unique and precious human being and there only few words that i can express at this time... Know that i am with you... That is an awesome video that your shared with us Dr Pamela, Thank you for sharing your story. While I knew at Rise that your Father had passed, that is incredible that your Mom joined him so quickly! It is usually those of us who are left behind who suffer more, as you say, they are dancing and connecting with you now, as truly free souls! Both my parents passed on just a few months apart, while in their early 50's and like you said, there are a few challenges. That was 19yrs ago and my Mom is still connecting with me, I was close to her and I had the opportunity to discuss that possibility with her, before she passed. The last time I spent with my Father, it was Valentines Day and I bought him the biggest bunch of flowers that I was able to arrange and walked into the hospital, with a big smile. During our last few hours I shaved his face and enjoyed our last hours together! I loved that you have had the courage to remind us that this challenge may appear, in any of our lives, at any time? It is a wonderful reminder, to appreciate and acknowledge our loved ones so that we are able to be at peace within ourselves and feel supported by any decision that we make! Unlike you, I knew my Father would pass and I had an event planned, although it was not as big as the part that you played at Rise, he knew that it was important to me. He also knew that I would gladly stay and support him, as he passed, I asked him, what did he want, I gave him a choice? He told me to go and I knew it was the best thing for both of us! He passed four days later, with his Mom and siblings there. I am grateful that you were supported by your BraveHeart Sisters and that your parents are free souls!! Dear Dr. Pamela, My goodness, you brought such tears my eyes! What courage you have. When we sat together at RISE you never let on. Your kindness, warmth, spontaneity, joy and generosity are the things that I remember. How appropriate that you should have been surrounded by such clarity and support during both of these difficult periods. I don't know if you saw a post I made some time ago, but ... it appears the Lord has come for the good and special people your parents clearly must have been ... The chariot of 2010 came for Elizabeth Edwards, now Richard Holbrooke, your parents, and another very special lady, my friend's mother-in-law, who was noted for arranging the shoes and slippers of all who visited their abode ... pointing the toes forward so the guests could slip easily into them as they departed ... Special people, indeed! ... Your description of their souls now being FREE is truly inspiring ... may it help to comfort you in the days ahead ...
