Conquering the 'green-eyed' monster....

Hello and Welcome… I'm Dr. Pamela with the 'Free Your Soul™ Community'…

In this session, we are going to address a belief that has affected us
as women for eons. And that is "Jealousy"… yes… "Jealousy…
the Green-Eyed Monster!" It is said that when we are jealous, we
are green with envy.

Now I don't know about you, but I have felt that green-eyed monster
within me in so many situations and with so many different people
that I've encountered over the years that I really was compelled
to figure out a way to feel differently about it!

So what happens is you see something… the object of your jealousy,
let's say… whether it's a person or a situation or an opportunity
that you have not been made privy to, or a state that you have not
attained… and you begin to feel, on a visceral level, something not
right within your Self. It's almost like a letdown, a feeling of
disappointment within your Self that you have either not achieved or
attained what that person has, you have not been offered that same
opportunity, or you don't look like that woman looks!

And whatever the cause is, it creates this negative feeling within
you that works really against you. It doesn't help you… it actually
makes you feel bad. It makes you feel worse about your Self. And if
carried too far, the green-eyed monster can be projected outward to
the object of your jealousy.

We have examples of that when… let's say, we're standing in a group
of women and some really beautiful woman walks past, and the small
group of women will turn to each other and say, "Hate her!" Or if you
see some woman… let's say, talking in a way in which she comes across
with such confidence and such security in her Self, often, women who
don't feel that way, will perceive that woman with a sense that she
is being obnoxious, or like a Who does she think she is? kind of
feeling may come over the women who are perceiving her in that way.
All of this is jealousy.

We are conditioned to buy into this jealousy early on because we are
raised in a world and a society that continually bombards us with
images and visions, on a physical level as well as on an internal level,
of how we need to be in order to be beautiful or to be successful.
And, as women, we really buy into this and start feeling bad about our
Selves when we feel like we haven't even come close to those things.

So I don't know about you, but this has really caused me many problems
over the years and I want to definitely reverse this in my Self and
help you do the same. So what can we do? What is the practical Soul-ution
to this problem?

We can face it, we can embrace it, and we can replace it!

We face it by acknowledging the idea that we indeed have been privy to
jealousy over time and in different situations and we felt it towards
different people.

We embrace it by accepting our Selves where we are at, not condemning
our Selves, or judging against our Selves because we allowed our Selves
to feel jealous. In fact, I find my Self saying it out loud when I feel
it so I don't just let it kind of eat away inside of me and, this way,
I help to let it go, or reduce it to some extent.

We replace it… with admiration. Yes, we're going to replace jealousy
with admiration. How does that work? Well, the truth is that we are
attracting these people and these situations to us energetically, and
made to feel jealous because we actually contain a potential within us
to go the same way as them that we have not yet developed.

So if we turn the negative energy of jealousy into the positive energy
of admiration, we then begin to walk the path where we can actually
develop that same potential that we see in others within our Selves.
Now suddenly we realize that the Universe is actually helping us out
by drawing these people and these situations to us, so we can feel that
maybe we can see them as role models… maybe kind of feel some of their
energy and allow that to work for us… but now we're coming from a place
where we believe… the new belief… which is, if I admire what you're
doing, or saying, or feeling, or looking like, or being… then I have
the potential within me to develop that as well.

I must tell you that this has worked wonderfully for me, because now
I have the opportunity to actualize my true potential… by seeing all
of these beautiful women and what they are achieving and accomplishing
and being, and allowing my Self to develop those attributes as potentials
in me!
