Thought For Today… “WE Are ALL Meant To Shine…”

Words of Wisdom from Marianne Williamson...

Our Deepest Fear ~

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest
fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not
our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented,
fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the
world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that
other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make
manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some
of us; it is in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other
people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our
own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Let’s FOCUS on the “Light” rather than the “Darkness”…

Let’s ALLOW our “Light” to Shine & Shine & Shine… :-x

I have been suffering from social anxiety, and reminding me of the light is some help.Take care and may you also LET YOUR LIGHT exceed your darkness at all times!

Bell,

Thanks for sharing, we do need to concentrate more on the light instead of darkness.

The media tends to focus on darkness. Once in awhile you'll hear about something good happening.

I always want my light to shine.:-D

Hello Bell,

I walk to the light. Thank you for posting this beautiful poem and reminding me what matters. I like Gentle Warrior - very strong and calm.
Love and Peace,
Risa
I read that Marianne's words were part of a speech by Nelson Mandela. Since then her words are sometimes attributed to him.

Guess it's a lesson in not being too attached to what we put out there!
