What matters most is our ability to feel peace inside. As a peaceful calm culminates, it over flows and oozes out to touch our worlds. This creates a tractor beam of peace, serves as a magnet, to our desires. They come toward us!

When we need a boost, or as teacher of this practice, we can notice a tree. I mean, really observe it for a bit. Become aware of its total acceptance of what is; it isn't resisting, it’s not jealous, angry, mean, or prideful. It is being a tree with all its heart. It doesn't wish to be a frog or a rock or anything other than what it is.

Feel the peace it exudes, regardless of what is happening with the weather. It happily flows, bends, and adjusts to whatever brushes against it without a single complaint. No resistance. What a great teacher of peace!

Just a few moments of this will offer you some relief from whatever is going on in your world, and give you the juice you need to create harmony with those around you.

Love yourself up…. Be A Tree!

Holly your words, What matters most is our ability to feel peace inside are the most significant.

Each individual needs to find a way to feel peaceful in order to be her best self.

It does not matter what tool or strategy is used to help one find this sense of Peace, but rather that one experiments till one finds a way to feel peaceful.

Thank you for sharing.

Holly,

it's a nice reminder to find peace inside.

I often imagine to be a tree, so I can relate to that easily.
But what is fascinating about a tree, in my opinion-are it's roots.

The roots, although, most often, we don't see them, are the foundation for peace.
They are the ones, who determine, if the tree survives the winds, storms, rains and all the external challenges.

Without strong roots even the most beautiful tree will not keep it's stillness.

We absolutely need strong roots, otherwise, our branches will not survive the storms and our buds will not see the spring.

Much love and peace.:-x

You Are a Pathway to Peace
In the context that you are talking, I totally agree with you.

But on;

>> "It doesn't wish to be a frog or a rock or anything other than what it is. "

I would say, frog, rock or a tree, doesn't know anything about existence. The only creature in this world that who knows it exists, is human. All the creatures except human, adapts to nature, because that's how they evolved (Nature let them live, they cannot change nature). A polar bear can not live on equator or a fish can not live outside water. But if you look at human, they are everywhere. Because, humans can not adapt, they make the environment adapt themselves.

You can achieve a peaceful life, by only "not changing", "not interacting with" anything. But interaction means both peace and war (it's dialectic).

That's how a tree can be peaceful. By not doing anything (or minimum) and obeying nature's rules.

In your context, I know, tree is a symbol of peace and harmony. I agree with you. But I just wanted to say these.
I love this, Holly. Total acceptance is like the way a tree is" being a tree with its whole heart."
