We have been taught to find what’s wrong, notice what’s wrong, fix what’s wrong, analyze what’s wrong, talk to our friends about what’s wrong, hire people to help us find what’s wrong, employ attorneys to prove what’s wrong so we can win fights about who’s wrong, and God knows we always notice what our friends, children and parents are doing wrong. In general, we pay close attention to what’s wrong all the time. Man… that is a lot of attention on the concept “wrong”.
Quantum physics teaches us that what we give thought to manifests. Einstein said our thought becomes reality. Harry Palmer says it like this:
“whoever or whatever you place your attention on becomes more real.” Many great teachers say it many different ways, but it all points to the same thing…we are very much in charge of what we are experiencing.
It makes you wonder - how much of your attention is going to what is wrong with your life and how much is going to what is good with your life? Stop for a moment, right now, and review your day.
How much of your attention is just “doing” - getting things done - without much passion in your heart. How much of your life is on automatic with no heart in it? How much time or attention do you put toward creating and feeling YOUR passions? YOUR excitement, and YOUR magic? Do you let yourself dream of having the treasures you seek? Do you imagine having them, experiencing them? Do you believe it’s possible? Do you believe in yourself? If you are doing this, more than likely your dreams are coming true. If not well… have you been putting attention on how you can’t do it or how impossible it is? Stop it!
Start putting more energy and focus on what life feels like living your dream and the actions that would make it happen, and feel what succeeding would feel like. Imagine what you look like or feel like having it all. See it, feel it, believe in it… and watch the magic. Here is the trick… if you often feel unhappy because something is missing for you – this is putting more attention on what you don’t have - thus creating more not having. This practice is amazingly simple and powerful. What ever you keep putting your attention on will manifest. We are all skilled in creating more of what we resist or are angry about because of this very principal. This is how we put our life patterns on repeat.
Why not begin to create our dreams by using this very same principal? Let’s practice believing in our strength our creative power, and in ourselves. Let’s stop with so much attention on the war against someone or something. Stop being against some country, some nationality, or a past experience that didn’t work out. It just gives the thing we resist all the energy it needs to repeat itself.
Let’s put our efforts and attention on noticing and manifesting possibility - in our own unique way. What a difference we can make by putting as much attention on this as we do on what we fear!
Managing our minds becomes the most important task of our lives! It is our opportunity to create something better. Managing our minds is the missing ingredient to success in every area we have not been succeeding.
If you awake in the morning thinking of what is not working, start changing your mind. Wake up tomorrow with all your attention on something working. Imagine what it would be like for it to be perfect. See it, feel it, smell it working… every day for a week and watch what happens. Your attention on this will open a door; an opportunity that you could not see will show up. Your belief in its possibility will begin the process. Don’t give up!
You have all the power in the world waiting for you to direct it to something deliberately instead of just responding to the loudest noise. Guess who decides what happens in your life?
Power, love, spirit, awareness, energy, presence, consciousness, call it what ever name works for you but know that it is always there, always patient, always waiting for you to decide what you are worthy of. You are filled with it, surrounded by it, immersed in it and there is so much of it you can never run out. You give instructions to life every moment by how you treat yourself. You set up the patterns you are living with. Your care and compassion with yourself or the lack there of, is your instruction booklet to everyone else on how to treat you. They will treat you the same way you treat you.
What ever you experience on the inside has to manifest on the outside. It’s quantum physics. The good news is; we can always change what is inside, that is our gift. We are able to re-design life on the outside by taking responsibility for what is inside.
Peace in, peace out. Be responsible for what you see. Be responsible for what you feel. Be responsible for what you give to the outside by how you are being on the inside. You matter. You touch lives every single day.
Each moment is another opportunity to make a difference. Every thought you have is delivered to the world energy. Every moment of kindness is a gift. This is the practice of compassion and contributing to the condition of our world. Begin on your insides.
Believing is seeing, and not the other way around!
