Debra,
WOW.... what an incredible voice!!!
Susan is truly a BraveHeart Woman.... a woman of inspiration who shares her talented passion from her very soul... and has found her purpose.

It is a privilege to hear something so beautiful and feel the appreciation and love of those who had the joy of hearing Susan.
This is a great reminder to us to be aware of our "expectations".

Reminds me of an old saying:
"Don't judge a book by it's cover."

In Gratitude, :-x

(lets invite Susan to be a Braveheart woman!!!!!)
Hi Debra,

Not being one for watching much TV I completely missed this although here in England. It was all over the news, everybody was talking about Susan but I still had not looked her up.

Imagine seeing it here on our BH women site! Her performance reduced me to tears of joy - what a trooper!

Thanks for sharing - I'm no longer blissfully ignorant of what everyone else is talking about!

Looking forward to seeing you up in lights too.

Best,

Chineme
Dear Grazyna....

I get "chicken skin"...and I have never sung Karaoke......my leg will start shaking and my voice gets real weak and shaky......yet people ask me how I get up there and how am I not nervous....there is this illusion that most performers no longer get nervous...many do...and some rather extremely...

I am evolving but I am best "playing to my wall" I have been recording lately...and they tell me all the time not to try so hard....and to get out of my head.....so I totally understand your fears and they in no way are some kind of warning to "step away from the stage"

It is my belief that being scared..having fear of singing or playing or whatever ones passion may be does not mean anything....it is not a measuring stick as to whether or not a person is meant to do something......should or shouldnt do something.....

I waited a long time to not be afraid.....now I realize that the fear is, in a weird way, my friend....because when I am afraid I connect to the God within me....the fear calls for a spiritual solution.....I am very motivated to seek this solution more than I might otherwise be because it is something I love doing.....and so in a way my passion, which does not come necessarily easy for me, is perfect....because it leads me to connect with God, which is what I search for....and desire....

I always say that if the dream does not require a spiritual life....a connection to a power greater than myself.....then frankly, the dream isn't big enough!

I will watch the video that you linked to now.

I wish I could be there to cheer you on but I am there in spirit....you can tell us about your experience....I look forward to hearing all about it......so tomorrow then:-x;) when you get up there....and honor your truth....it will free you....

Much Love, your continuous cheerleader!

Debra
Honor Your Truth
Hi Debra,

I saw this video yesterday. It moved me a lot....
It awaken the singer inside of me...
Did you see the similar video with Paul Potts singing "Nessun dorma" over a year ago?

I believe, as we "honor our truth", we begin to discover who we really are.
It's like we start to really live our lives. Susan did that.
It's absolutely inspiring and it challenges us to honor our truth even more!

I am challenged to see my truth about singing. :-D
I live in a country (Taiwan) where the friends often gather to sing along Karaoke TV.
Although I love to sing, I never join them- I am afraid that ask me to sing.
Public speaking, no problem with me, but singing...I get a "chicken skin"only by thinking about it.
After seeing this video, I have decided to go beyond my fear and to accept any karaoke invitation from now on.
My first song will be: "Somewhere, there is a place for us" ;)

All the best.

Grazyna

P.S. Here is the video with Paul Potts performance.

That was amazing, fantastic....A wow moment........ Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful! Never judge a book by it's cover. Keep an open mind. She was initially judged by her looks and her age. She didn't let it deter her.You are right she behaved like and is a true Braveheart Woman.
That is the seven faces of intention being realized.

1) Creativity

2) Kindness

3) Love

4) Beauty

5) Expansion

6) Abundance

7) Receptivity

Hi Debra,

Everyone has a unique talent, and we all owe it to the world to share it with one another.

Susan Boyle is a true inspiration.

Audie
To see the looks on the faces of the three judges - looks of unbelievable admiration, joy, yes, even bliss, was worth watching, second only to the amazing - awesome - stunning performance of Susan Boyle. She didn't know who she was!!!

BraveHeart ladies, you don't know who you are!
Get out there and 'knock their sox off''!
Be a real heart opener like Susan was/is. :-x

Fantastic Video Debra!
Loving gratitude!
