Dec. 07,2009 Pearl Harbor Day Anniversary- Let us Remember.

7 Dec 2009

Let us each take a moment sometime today to honor the memory of all those who died on this day in 1941.

While many of us were not born yet, all of us are progeny of those who were embroiled in that 'war to end all wars' , in one way or another.

We are children or grandchildren of men and women who gave us the America we know today.

We owe a debt much larger than the nation's current deficit to each person who served in any capacity and that includes the generation left to "keep the home fires burning."

Without every single one of those BRAVEHEART-ers, we would not experience even the simple pleasure and honor of choosing to go on to this website at will, nor to fly to any RISE or RELEASE function.

Those of us not physically born in the USA, yet are here today, by choice, proudly carry on a tradition and a way of life, that honors those deaths.

Please fill your heart with gratitude for all our fallen heroes and those who were there and are still with us.

God Bless America!

In gratitude for being able to write this post.

Hello Kate

Thank you for the reminder. Today when my husband and I were in town I saw the flags were at half mast. I asked him what is today the flags are at half? DUH!! I appreciate that you posted this so we can all remember to remember.

Both of our fathers served in the service of the war so we should have known. My own father was in the Navy, and my husband's dad was in the Army. I have great admiration for any and all of the brave women who tend the homes while the servicemen perform their duties. I am very grateful for those who step up and protect and serve our country so we have the freedom to do as our hearts desire.

Love to you my friend!
