"The Difference Between a Drug and a Toxin is Quantity""

Posted Apr 14, 2009 03:13 PM
This above quote is from a friend of mine, Lisa Pramatarova.

Recently a friend of mine discovered that he was becoming dizzy and overwhelmed when he wore a particular coat. Come to find out, it was the chemicals in the dry cleaning process!

I created this website to give some background on these super dangerous toxins, what they do and a link to dry-cleaners that are going GREEN.

Thank you Dr. Sugar!

I think you're probably right about most men not spot cleaning and air drying!

I'm glad there's green dry cleaning available to those folks who decide to go that route!

I'll stink right along with you!
Kathy
Thanks Kathy
I was at a seminar where a speaker was discussing how dry cleaning really wore out your expensive suits much quicker. They recommended just hanging them up, airing them out and spot cleaning if necessary. I don't know how this would work for men (although it was a well dressed man who was advising this) but I think it sounds like an interesting idea. Not only to save on the expense of dry cleaning, and having to replace suits sooner, but as you also pointed out avoiding the exposure to so many chemicals.
Let me know if I start to smell - ok - haha ;)
To Your Total Wellness,
Dr. Sugar

P.S. Liked the quote - very true - for a lot of things not just dry cleaning!
