The World Is Changing Fast, Ready To Become An Entrepreneur?

“In a time of drastic change it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.“ –Eric Hoffer.  This quote by Eric Hoffer is becoming true right before our eyes today as the internet, social media, mobile phones, video teleconferencing, etc are part of our daily lives and it keeps on growing at an exponential rate.

What Do We Do?

I believe we all have a purpose in life, and if we get quiet and really listen to our hearts, we know what we are being called to do.  We may be scared because we don’t know how we are going to start “walking down a new path”. However, if we don’t start walking down this new road, what will our life look like in 5 – 10 years?

Let’s Go Into The Future

Take out a piece of paper and draw a line vertically down the middle.  On the left side, write on the top “You Don’t Change”, on the right side, “You Change”.  Now list the important parts of your life, namely: 1) Career, 2) Financial, 3) Relationships, 4) Health, 5) Spirituality.

Imagine 5 years have gone by and everything in the world has changed.  Each person will be compensated based on their productivity and true contribution to the entire world.  Now, what happens on the left column of your paper if you keep on doing what you are currently doing, verses on the right column, where you changed and started to learn valuable skills 5 years ago?  

Just Something To Ponder On

I know some of you are thinking, how can that happen?   And I am not saying that it will, I am saying it’s just something to ponder on and if things are changing so fast in the world, shouldn’t we be changing to?

The Best Time To Be An Entrepreneur

If you are ready to learn a new way, it is the most exciting time ever in history! The greatest opportunities comes during times of great change, however, you must be prepared for the changes.  If there ever was a time to become an entrepreneur and learn the skills of creating your own future, it is now!
