There is a whole Internet world out there that has its own ever evolving /emerging language, and quite entertaining turn of phrases. Have you heard of being Twitter Whacked, Google Slapped? How about tribes, twhirl, tweetups, hash tags, twitpics, tweetdeck, friendorfollow …Lions and tigers and bears..Oh My!! Let me tell you a little secret here. Shhhhh! Do you want to practice Just Be Who You Really Are Marketing? Then the one thing I have to say to you is - Twitter! At first glance this site may seem a little silly and simple. Express yourself in 140 characters or less. Yeah right, this is an excellent way to spend my time!?!? HOWEVER, open your mind, take another look. Set up a Twitter account , and do not participate, do not say a word. No tweeting at first. Just LISTEN. After some time spent in this listening activity, you will likely see a Wondrous and Powerful Genie appear right before your very eyes. Bingo…you got it…Social Networking…at a core level. Brand yourself, and Network with the biggest movers and shakers in the entire world, for FREE! Heed this warning however…There are strategies and etiquette that must be employed to maximize your success in Twitterville. Tread lightly in the beginning. Thank you for the insight, I have been hearing about twitter and had not yet gotten around to trying it out. Don't feel like you have to follow everyone who follows you, and know you can unfollow anyone you do not resonate with!!!

I have made some of the best business contacts on.... monster.com? Any business forum? NO! Twitter! I have someone I am doing a join venture with I met on Twitter. I have also made contacts from a four-time, national best seller- Mark Hyman,MD to Josh Shipp. Both of them will be interviewed on my radio show, both of them followed ME first!

Mark just sent me his book, The UltraMind Solution which had a review on the front page from Mehmet Oz (Dr. Oz on Oprah). I will let you know when the interview is scheduled (his people are contacting my people). The book is amazing and right in line with what I have been helping parents to understand about medicine~ food is your best medicine to heal your body!

Like any powerful tool, it is best to understand how to use it! But, by all means, jump and grow your wings on the way down. You were taught most of what you need to know about twitter in kindergarten! Play fair, share, clean up your mess if you make one, bring enough for everyone to have some, no name calling, no one likes a tattle tale, and wash your hands when you are done!
