Dress For Success
2 Comments
This is so on the mark. It helps me too, if I EXERCISE, then shower and dressss and then start my work at home. Not only do I feel motivated to get to the tasks at hand, but I move more gracefully, and then I'm ready for a spontaneous call to meet for coffee or lunch. Some mornings, the day just gets started and moving before I can follow this plan....but i know the day ALWAYS feels better if I can discipline this way. And when I wake early enough to Meditate too....thats, heaven. You give good advice so gently! I, for one, could've used a good verbal smack: Hey, get moving, sister! I always dressed up, never even suspecting there was a trap to fall into. And then I moved to Santa Barbara, a town that's made 'casual' an art form. I care quite a bit that my environment is a reflection of my creative discipline - strange that I forgot that I'm pretty much a reflection of that, too. We're all pretty happy around here that I'm doing better now.
