Doing Small Things With Great Love
6 Comments
Linda, I like to believe that with age comes wisdom. The older I get the more I focus on serving instead of being served. Albert Schweitzer once said, "Sometimes our light goes out but is blown into flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this light." Thank you for all you do for each of us every single day. May you continue to be blessed so that you may continue to bless others. Carolyn Thank You, Nancy, I appreciate your words and energies! Be well, smile often, shine brightly! Linda Dear Linda, Mother Theresa also said, "We ourselves feel what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." Qigong Master Chunyi Lin loves to say that smile means, " Start My Internal Love Engine". Thank you for sharing the drops of your beautiful spirit in helping start ALL those engines. I send YOU a smile containing loving light. Nancy Markham GrowMore Community Aloha to Linda and Barb! Two other BraveHeart Women sharing the Hawaii experience with me! I do not remember when I started enjoying being " a voice of Encouragement". It was early on. Over the years, that term has taken on new meaning, several times. I love seeing the light shine brightly in others. It is a great pleasure to share that - a wonderful exchange of energies. Love to both of you. You both inspire me to be better! Warm Aloha, Linda Dear BH Sister Linda... Thank you for sharing from your loving and courageous heart! I too feel the very same way..it gets 'challenging' at times as we get older! However your beautiful words are just the way I feel each day. And these actions are the 'New Beginnings' to another thrilling step on our joyous journey. I am realizing that what I do…the way I treat others…the way I make others feel during the day.. is an accomplishment that I have not being acknowledging myself for. I am swell at putting smiles on faces! In Gratitude for YOU... Linda Kay Holden New Beginnings Community " I am realizing that what I do…the way I treat others…the way I make others feel during the day.. is an accomplishment that I have not being acknowledging myself for. I am swell at putting smiles on faces!" - Linda ... Dear Linda, Thank you for sharing ... BEing "swell at putting smiles on faces" is a BIG deal, indeed! ... And, dear Linda, it is out of small gestures of acknowledgement ... of respect ... that great oak trees spring from mere acorns ... Who knows what "oak trees" thou has been responsible for ... Hmmm ... With much gratitude ... and an acknowledgement of a profound insight ... my love and many blessings ... Aloha pume hana, Barb
