" Your greatest tool is making someone feel special " I have just heard this in a training, and I can not think of one single area of my life where it does not hold true. In the words of Dr. Maya Angelou, "People never forget the way you make them feel." When I reflect upon the people who have impacted my life the most, I realize they are the ones that made me feel special... Thinking about my alignment with BraveHeart Women, and Ellie Drake, I know that I will make a long and joyous journey with all of you, because you make me feel special... I strive to be aware of how I make people feel, and hold the intention of making them feel special. This is something I can do. Linda Carol Berry

I loved reading your blog. I agree - everyone has a need to feel loved and appreciated -- TO FEEL SPECIAL! I feel fortunate that growing up this was something that I was blessed with. My parents were always great about making all of us kids feel special. My dad was a supersensitive guy who had a knack for loving so unconiditionally and making special efforts to make us feel special - one of the reasons I miss him so terribly (he passed away in January). But I am SO thankful that I was bessed with someone who knew how important it was to show appreciation. It's also the reason I love the business I do of showing love and appreciation by sending out a card everyday to someone with a heartfelt message. I really believe it can change lives! Everone needs to be appreciated. I appreciate your sensitivity and kind spirit. :8}
