Healthy and happy ... the best way to BE ...  ...  ... One can't UNenroll in Medicare because it's ALL about probabilities AND actuarial number crunching ... WE are ONE nation and as such WE must ALL be in the pool of possibilities or the numbers do not crunch like they need to ... We build roads for EVERYONE even if some of us never use the roads in certain parts of the country ... No harm ... no foul ... WE BELIEVE in the INTERSTATE FREEWAY system ... ... Ok ... a s-t-r-e-t-c-h but I hope you get the idea ... Some things we MUST DO as a NATION of many people ... so that ALL of us can have the benefit of healthcare ... perhaps until EVERYONE becomes as WISE as you and decides that HEALTH is the answer to our healthcare problems ... but, my dear ... THAT may take a while ...Some people can never be convinced to take care of themselves ... So ... until then ... People need to remember that this is the FIRST iteration of the Health Care Reform Law ... WE are a nation of VERY bright people and we CAN improve on things ... Most of us refer to the process as "tweaking" ... Tweaking this legislation will take years, but ALL good things worthy of the effort deserve to be given the chance to succeed ... Missed seeing You too, Kate! I trust you had a wonderful experience. Tell us all about it! Thanks for your comments. I am willing to see the strengths in this strategy. As a nation, collectively, and individually, we have consciously rolled the dice against health, and now ...we are in a pickle! It's a matter of developing and choosing the strategy that has the best chance of reaching the most people in need. In a nation where one in every group of kids has an IPhones, many seniors are without glasses, hearing aids, and teeth...even if they are fortunate enough to be otherwise healthy. We are in a position where action is improvement. . I am all for incentives to stay healthy! That starts in out grocery stores, not in our pharmacies. Linda

Hi Linda! missed seeing you this yr at rise... Good little info video...tho' my ears stopped input at 5mins of the 9 mins... hmmmm There is one solution...rewards for being healthy,becoming healthier and staying healthy... right now medicare throws away a monthly fee to keep my name in some computer in some system, for 'drugs benefits' [now is that an oxymoron]! I take zero prescription medication and have not for mannnnny years. For 3 years now I have tried to dis-enroll and stop this waste of time and money..the gov't people on the phone can't do it as there is no box to click to say one does not want this "coverage"!
