Thank you, Linda! What a wonderful opportunity to muse on the names that I still call myself. My external life is filled with wonderful people who call me names filled with love. I am so appreciative and grateful for those gifts. Through your post, I realize that I have kept the judgmental names of my childhood tucked away like broken jewelry, which I no longer wear on a day to day basis, but haven't taken the step to fully clean out that drawer. Here's to clearing another bit of mind-clutter! Warmly, Susan Aloha and Welcome Tina! I'm glad you found us too! Linda This is fabulous! I am so glad I found it on the discussion board.... I love your message and want to thank you for sharing. Of course there is no accident, I have not been feeling well today and basically overwhelmed and I love this - I was beating myself up with work and everything else "I ought to do" instead of caring for me and this is a message that I needed to have reiterated to me! thank you again Have a POWErful Day! t Let's see...Courageous Traveler on a Journey Looking forward to seeing you tonight 3/11/2009 Deborah Akridge (Deja) Join the community as we explore new routes to a healthy lifestyle, and let's share ideas together The New You Community Aloha Ginnie, Welcome! Tip From Linda Carol Berry: If you are a person who has EVER said "I have always wanted to sky dive!", then, 1.open your yellow pages, 2. look under "Parachuting" 3. find the nearest Drop Zone, 4. call for an appointment, 5. drive to the DZ ( the most dangerous activity of your day) 6. plow right through the waiver ( " I understand that this activity may involve serious injury or death) because you already completed the most dangerous part of the day when you got out of the car, 7. strap yourself to the cute guy, and 8. Experience FREEFALL You will never...ever...be the same...I promise! When I master more video stuff, I'll post some footage of some of my more exciting jumps! Stay tuned!!! Your Friend, Kathy What a triumph! A great post, Linda, your excitement for living seethes through the words. How do you like skydiving? That thrill was a 'jumping point' for my husband Barney many years ago. He enjoyed the thrill of the jump and the extreme trust in the process of landing. I enjoyed reading your post and seeing your recent pictures with your message of hope. Love, Mary Aloha Christine, Mom's Know!! I did not tell my mom for some time, her being a world class worrier, and someone who liked to tell her daughter how much time was spent in prayer to seek divine intervention. in hopes I would not go up in smoke, and spend eternity in hell! When I achieved my license ( it took determination - that's a book! ) I shared my accomplishment with her.... And she was soooo happy for me! Go Figure! Linda Aloha Beautiful Bell, Shauna really struck a cord - here it is 24 hours later, and I am still resonating with what she said. Gracious in all circumstances Generous of spirit SCULPTED TEACHER Balanced Beautiful in every way Love you, Bell Cheers, My Friend! *HUG* *Breath* I'll go have a glass of organic wine to celebrate you... Cheers Linda! I have not jumped for 20ish years...wow has it really been that long! LOVED it... we will have to share stories sometime. Like the one I statistically should not have been able to survive, yet went onto to jump 40 more times! And it was my mother who was fearful of my jumping that told me I had to jump again to overcome the fear! Wise woman, my mom! Christine
