As We Remember .....

Aloha Barb, I appreciate your thoughts very much. I believe the finest service we can provide those around us is to serve as a good example... live our values and our love... be the change we wish to see.. .leave each person we meet during our day feeling better, with a happier heart, and always have kindness in our eyes and in our smiles. You do that. Much love, Linda Dear Linda, Thank you for sharing ... Taking away life lessons from tragedy is probably the best lesson of all ... ALL who were alive that day needed to revisit our view of the world and those in it who threaten the well-being of strangers who have done them NO harm ... That is certainly a new paradigm for military engagement of the enemy ... We must always be mindful that the BEST ways to win the hearts and minds of the irrational is to bring them to rational thought ... Recognize that those who wish us ill have to "rationalize" their behavior to themselves and their followers AND that failing to do so will UNDERMINE their own agenda ... I am listening to "Fareed Zakaria GPS" and have heard enough to know that this IS the way ahead that will bring peace and prosperity to the vast majority of the world's population ... There will always be evil doers amongst us - but the VAST MAJORITY of people are "good and decent" and it IS to this majority that we must speak and it is this MAJORITY that must come to see, embrace, and empower the WISDOM of peace and prosperity for ALL ... The evil doers WILL prove to be their OWN worst enemy .... IF we choose to wage the battle on the margins with words and thoughts that HELP others to SEE A BETTER WAY ... WE, those who wish good to prevail in the world, WILL indeed PREVAIL .. In the memory of all who perished on that day 9 years ago, to ALL the hearts that broke that day and since have sought mightily to heal, to ALL who wish to be on the side of "goodness and decency" ... I wish ALL of us ... PEACE and PROSPERITY ... WE will PREVAIL if we choose to never forget that FREEDOM and ALL we hold dear require undying vigilance ... May those who lost their lives that day not have died in vain ... May time heal the wounds left that day, but may we never forget the sacrifices made ... May the strength of ALL who rose UP that day and vowed to make things BETTER ... give HOPE to ALL who pray for peace and goodness to prevail ... With much gratitude, love, respect, and many blessings ... thank you, dear Linda, for the BH courage of remembering ... Aloha pume hana, Barb
