"Be Yourself—Everyone Else is Already Taken." I was thinking about this saying and was wondering who said it, so I googled it! I LOVE this saying and just had to share it!! I found out that it was an Oscar Wilde quote! I also found out that a gentleman named Michael Robbins wrote a book with this as it's title. I think I'll check out the book! With this as it's title, it must be good. I'll let you know when I find out. Here's to being yourself!! Love & friendship, Liz

This is a very profound thought! Its so deeply true. Being the best that you can be at "being yourself" is such a wonderful gift to give to the world.

I LOVE the part.."everyone else is already taken"!

Sometimes it can be scary to be yourself, since the risk of rejection can be intimidating. But the truth is, the JOYS of acceptance, for outweigh any risk of rejection!

I love your concise but powerfully subtle post about being yourself.
I know for myself there were years throughout my marriage I would look in the mirror and wonder who She was, what She liked and where is She going... Funny thing, as a kid right up to adulthood I could not identify with anybody. I insisted on being original, I wanted to be me and never wanted to emulate anyone else. It took me years to unravel my pain which stopped me from being me and my journey continues. But now, I know why I have so much pain...still I am authentic and unique and stride to be me. I shall embark upon the summit this year! Peace, love and harmony. ~ Cat
