A Place For Peace

I am blessed to live in a mountain environment where birds wake me up and squirrels sometimes chatter me to sleep. As I drive up the canyon to our home each day, I leave the hurry scurry behind me and enter the natural environment with crisp clean air. In the last 20 some years, I have never taken this for granted. The seasons, the changes and the fragility of the environment in which I live are ever a focus as I am entreated to partake of what surrounds me. Worth the drive, worth the effort, worth every minute. Such is our own life...worth embracing and noticing every day; worth honoring the seasons and the changes as well as the challenges. All of this makes the total picture...beautiful. Thank you for my new blessing... this blog...this collection of individuals with passion and purpose. I wish all a beautiful morning each day...it is all in how we see it isn't it? Shelley Dearest Margaret, I Agree... "Nature is a place of Peace"... When I take walks now, I find myself Appreciating ALL the Abundance that surrounds me... Like the sky, clouds, wind, trees, birds, grass, flowers, shrubs, etc... Sometimes I find myself taking deeper ~ "Loving & Conscious" breaths... So for me, walking does take me to a place of Peace... Margaret, Thank YOU for sharing this with US! From my Heart to Yours, Bell Rushing Gentle Warrior Hi Margaret I agreed Nature is one of the biggest gift we have. I love what you said about Nature speaks to our hearts can restore our internal balance. Thank you, Giovanna Garcia Imperfect Action is better than No Action Five or six years ago I was hiking with a friend and decided to hug a tree and in that moment I experienced the most amazing feeling the most amazing flow of energy I had ever felt...I couldn't believe it...Since then whenever I get a chance I hug a tree and get energized over again and it's the easiest way for me to feel connected with everything around and the Universe. I feel peace! Thank you Margaret! One of my favorite times of the day is when I go for a walk in the park not too far from my house. Huge, tall trees, a duck pond and plenty of frisky squirrels playing with each other. Truly a gift for my soul! Rijuta Tooker Manifest your Soul-Power!
