Mary Anne, When we acknowledge our strengths and accomplishments, we also feel much better, feel satisfied, pleased, confident and happy. That's true or me - how about you? Have happy weekend. BarbaraFilla Passion Branding Community Coach MaryAnne, Good to see you are releasing that old belief system. I used to feel the same way..until I became a braveheart woman. I was always taught not to brag about myself, that people did not act that way. Well if I don't brag about me, who is going too? Why not admit if I have a good quality or am efficient at a task or whatever it may be? Be "proud" of who you are and what you can do and don't feel that you can not claim your power! Rebecca Hofeldt Horse Lovers - Free Spirit It is part of our upbringing where we are taught belief systems from our parents, et.al. They were taught it, and it worked for them, so they pass down the information. It is awesome that you became aware of this and that you are releasing it. As women, I often feel that it is looked down upon when we are too confident or strong or driven; we must be modest to be respectable. WE must apologize whenever we 'know' something. I congratulate you and your awareness. Thank you.
