Alesia, Healing is one of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself,I remember the first time I attented Dr.Sugars Retreat the feelings of the CHATTER telling me not to attend was so overwealing I even made my self sick,But the healing that takes place when your ready is forever .Hang in there girl your doing just fine................... With HOPE, COURAGE AND DIVINITY Lisa Collins Do not quit. Better times are ahead. Just take one step at a time as Patricia said. Remember the serenity prayer: Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference. Keep the faith. stephiesstuff Dear only1qu33n- My heartfelt prayers are with you. Just take it one step at a time and one day at a time. There is a brighter day ahead but today can be the beginning. Continue to be brave and KNOW that you are doing the right thing not just for you but for your precious baby. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Patricia Alesia, As a counselor myself, I totally understand how scary it is to sit with a stranger and be vulnerable. But know this, doing so tells you and those around you that you have more courage and strength than you know by taking the risks to change any self-destructive thoughts, feelings and behaviors. You joined this community looking for a way to heal yourself, to become and be empowered and live your life outrageously well. Don't let fear tell you otherwise. Long ago someone told me that fear is like a big scary shadow on the wall, but if you really look at it, the image is only the shadow of a small chihuahua...point, fear is only as big as you make it. Press on, keep looking forward. Remember you can't change the past, but you CAN learn from it so you can make better decisions for your future. Prayers and thoughts are with you. Live NOW! Anita Dear only1qu33n - Don't give in to the nerves!!!! You've come this far, and I know how nerve-racking it is to face down the past. I also know the deflation of realizing what a long road there is to travel. Just take one step at a time. Today you only need to get through the time with the Counselor, Remember: he/she is on your side!!! They won't judge you, they will simply help you put it in perspective. This IS the right direction, you know it. Just get through the day, and see how you feel on the other side of that counseling session. I'm sure it will be a huge relief. My very best thoughts and prayers are with you, Beth
