Growing Your Business: Don't Burn Your Bridges
1 Comment
Hi Pat, I absolutely agree with you in principle and actions. Win-win relationships are so wonderful, rewarding both personally, professionally, and in success for everyone. May I share a couple exceptions: 1. Never sacrifice your principles and core values, because that is the essence of you. Some people and companies just are not right for you. They will be detrimental and you lose, even though you are playing win-win. I've been there and learned. 2. Think and play win-win, and be conscious of changing situations throughout the game, so you can modify as needed. When one's gut senses something is not right, look into that immediately. Somewhere the win-win may be turning into a win for them-lose for you. I don't want to 'Swim With the Sharks' - Ouch! I want to be one of the 'gentle' shark community... where there is a win-win. Good to have you in our group...fun brainstorming, bouncing around ideas, strategies to assist entrepreneurs and businesses.
