When you love what you do, it's easy to do quality work.

Sometimes you lose that enthusiasm and passion that once was there and got you motivated to open your own business. When you lose that spark, the quality of your product or service may suffer. Ask yourself before you delivery a product or service "Is this my best?"

Hi Pat,
Thanks for the life lessons...
I've been viewing your blog posts. Very good ideas.
My husband and I fell in love dancing with one another. - Dr Sugar is right about dancing for five minutes. You can't help but smile!
Gary has been taking lots of breaks to de-stress. I need to join him on a float down the Sacramento River.
I've been working to get a new medical product out to the marketplace. I am currently taking a break just being in here. Keep up with your posts. I like reading them.
Thanks and have a great day,
Sindy
Hi Pat,

People say to me all the time, "I cant believe you are still smiling" when I have worked a 12,13,14 hr day....if I know I am delivering good service....i feel energized and alive....useful....

When I am self absorbed for some reason, usually something I cant control anyway;), thats when I feel crabby and less tolerant....so I focus on the service...."please relieve me of the bondage of self" and then I am good to go again

usually whatever was bugging me is no longer an issue for one reason or another....it is fixed much quicker than if I tried to solve it in my head....

hmmm I havent heard of the book Dr.Sugar recommended...I'll have to look for it?

Thank you Pat....you're awesome!:-x

Sincerely,
Debra

Hi Pat
Great blog - great thoughts! Thanks for sharing -

A book that I highly recommend is called Every Person’s Guide to Making The Ordinary ExtraOrdinary – by Mark Sanborn - - it is a great little read and corresponds well with your blog.

•EVERYONE MAKES A DIFFERENCE – No matter how large an organization is an individual within that organization can make a difference. Only the employee (regardless of rather you work for someone else or work for yourself) can choose to do her job in an extraordinary way. – So then The only question at the end of the day is “What kind of difference did you make?”

•YOU GET TO CHOOSE – Which do you prefer enjoyment or misery? Feeling good about your work or feeling bad about it? It is HARDER to be miserable, negative and insincere than to be happy, positive and genuine. Having the MOST FUN DOING YOUR BEST WORK is the definition of true success.

Thanks again for your post!
We should all consistently take action and "Be our BEST!"

To Your Total Wellness,
Dr. Sugar
I agree Pat, that you have to have a passion for what service you are giving...and the challenges will be welcomed.:-D
