Being Committed/Forever Braveheart

Posted Sep 2, 2010 04:01 PM
Sometimes lessons come in a strange manner. We all go through times when we commit to doing things, a special project or an event, something we want to do for someone or for ourselves. Being completely committed though sometimes takes more than we realize. It may take more time or more effort than we expected or anticipated. Yet that is where we learn the lessons and can grow with them.

I have committed recently to getting myself back into better shape, partially because I have gained some weight and intend to release it. Also to be in a better state of health. So I have committed to exercising on a regular basis. While it doesn't always fit in my schedule I attempt to do as much as often as possible.

What does this have to do with being a brave heart woman? While being committed to being a brave heart woman there are times that I have been unable to be "active" or "online" consistently. However knowing how much it has been a "blessing" to be a part of this community, for what I have received from all of you other brave heart women, I can honestly say that I will be "forever brave heart". Since its beginning to now I have been committed to the passion and purpose of this incredible community, even if not "present" each day, not a day goes by that I have not thought about it and the amazing women who are also committed to it.

I am extremely grateful for Ellie Drake and her commitment to this community, her dedication, her existence and most of all her patience and LOVE.

For these reasons I am thankful and truly blessed to have you all in my life and a place to come "home" to each time I have been away for any length of time. Being a braveheart has taught me so many valuable lessons and commitment is another one along the journey.

Absolutely! ( to Linda Holden! )

Life has other plans for us sometimes - and it's all very good.

This is a group that I cherish, that I learn from, and that I want to be active in forever.

Dear Becky,

It's always so inspiring to read your encouraging words from your heart.
You are truly a BraveHeart Woman and a loving sister sharing our journey together as we continue to learn and grow.

We all have times when we are "away" attending to the priorities of life, but it is so inspiring to know that our BraveHeart sisters are here when we return.

In Gratitude for you...:-x

Dear Rebecca,

{{{{{{{HUG}}}}}}} The more I read from you the more I am convinced you and I have so much in common haha I'm telling you girl ..we are like soul sisters haha. And I completely understand the releasing of those extra pounds. I'm here cheering you on as well . Consistency is the key to losing weight. Little by little make lifestyle changes and they will naturally become part of who you are... Living healthier and losing weight. It happens naturally when you make the right choices..:) You truly are a braveheartwomen..and you are very inspiring to us all.
