Our Prosperity Circle started a 21 day Complaint Free Program last night.
I have been waiting for 30 minutes for a utility company customer service rep to come on the phone. The music they are playing is nice. A recorded voice keeps telling me to go to the website where I can find a section to address my concerns. Being a computer person, that's what I did originally to see if I could take care of the situation online. In all their pull down boxes, not one referred to the concern I had. I then spent 5 minutes searching the website to find a phone number so I could call.
Once I dialed the phone, I pushed buttons to get to the right department, excited when a person answered right away. Unfortunately my concern wasn't in her department, and she said she'd transfer me to the right one. but I was transferred back to the main menu. I pushed another button, and so started the wait.
I'm working on not complaining. I love technology. In many incidents it makes our lives easier. Thank goodness my phone has a speaker, so I don't have to hold it up to my ear as I'm waiting.
Grrrrr... I want to complain so bad! I just got off the phone ...43 minutes had gone by before someone came on, only to tell me that what I want to do has to be done by my landlord. Oh well. Message left on his phone and on to the next call ... and wouldn't you know it, the recording says "Due to high volume of calls your hold time may be longer than usual."
The funny thing is, I thought about doing these calls this morning, bright and early, and then got busy doing other things. What if that thought was my intuition telling me the perfect time to call and take care of these things? If I'm ignoring my intuition so easily, how many other things have I dealt with, complaining all the way, because I'm not paying attention?
I've told many students that I believe our intuition is the interpreter for the infinitely intelligent Voice of God. Maybe I should listen to myself as well as It!
Ernest Holmes writes in the glossary of the Science of Mind: "Intuition is God in us, revealing to us the Realities of Being. Just as instinct guides the animal, so would intuition guide us, if we would allow it to operate through us. The ability to know without any process of reasoning. God knows only intuitively.
If I listened and paid attention to my intuition, maybe I wouldn't have anything to complain about. What I know is that Infinite Intelligence is working for us and through us always. It's up to us to acknowledge, listen and use it.
How about you? Do you listen to your intuition?
SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT
Recognizing there is only One Mind - the infinitely intelligent mind of God - I know this Mind is absolutely everywhere. My Mind is God's Mind, and therefore everything I need to know about anything is already within me.
How grateful I am to know this! I now declare I am willing to open my heart and mind to listen to my intuition, knowing it will never guide me in the wrong direction. In any and every situation, I know Divine Wisdom is guiding me. I trust this Truth.
I celebrate this awareness, and am grateful to know this Truth. I release these words to Spiritual Law, knowing they are already so. And so it is.
