Look For the Abundance of Treasure All Around You

ist1_6327714-buried-treasure-chest.jpgLook around you, really look - for the abundance of treasure that is all around you. Looking for treasure means looking for something that you value greatly, something you cherish, have love for and hold dear.

Why would you want to know what you treasure in life? Well, we know that what we think about, have strong emotions about and act upon, we easily attract back into our experience. When you treasure something, would you not want more of that in your life?

To help reveal to yourself what you truly treasure in your life, imagine that you are going on a 'Treasure Hunt'. To begin, take a pen, a small notebook, your 'Treasure Hunt glasses' and a smile.

At the top of the first page of your notebook, write, "I commit to finding at least 7 treasures in my life today." Then sign your name right underneath.

As a treasure is revealed to your consciousness, write down what the treasure is and write one sentence that expresses how you feel about the treasure. Example: I am happy and grateful for the treasure of my early morning walks in the park. I feel so refreshed and enjoy the beauty of the early light, the frisky squirrels and the friendliness of the huge forest trees.

It is important that you include the 'happiness factor' and 'gratitude factor' in the statement that you write. Because we so often dis-connect from our feelings, it is very important to connect with the positive feelings you have with regard to each specific 'treasure'.

What do you truly love about your life?
What do you cherish and wish you had more of?
What are your top three Treasures?
Keep looking for the abundance of treasure all around you. Add to your list.
What do your heart and soul treasure?

Hello Rijuta,

I love your suggestions. To remind myself to take the time to discover what they are and enjoy myself in the discovery. Thanks for the exercise.

Aitza :)
Christina, when you keep building your 'treasure list', and continue to choose your top three, you will soon find what you are passionate about. Taking action in this way is also feeding yourself with inspiration and joy - two great ingredients for a happy and healthy life. :)

Dr. Sugar, yes, adding our gratitude and happiness to our recipes is so important, both of which you manifest so beautifully. :)

Crystal, thank you for stopping by and adding value! :)

Ruby, buy your notebook, go to your 'hiding place' by the river, then begin your treasure list. When you get a small list that you are happy about, please tell us what they are by blogging. In this way you will have started, completed and shared your 'findings'! :)

With love and gratitude, dear BraveHeart sisters, :-x

Hello Rijuta,

What a great idea....this will also help me try and find what i am passionate about....

What an inspirational way to look at your life and also a way to get your brain thinking to add more abundance to your life....

Your frind along the way....

Hi Geraldine,

Wonderful that you have done the exercise in the past. The writing of anything (especially handwritten) helps to deepen the experience that you write of. However, because you have perhaps done the exercise so often, you do not feel the need to write it. Thank you for telling us of your experience with it, Geraldine! :-x

Hi Deborah,

Yes, the master key is taking something from the head's understanding and the writing of it on paper, to the inspiration from the heart and acting on it. There you go; you have formulas all ready to begin. Ready, set, go!
Deborah, you have so much humility and good humor!!! :-D :^O

Hi Chickee,

A great habit to get into - even when it happens after your morning coffee! :-D ;)

Hi Rijuta,

At nighttime I remind myself to look at all the abundance around me when I wake up -- but first I have to have my morning coffee....

Chickee ;)
Thanks for the step up! :-x I have notes every where Rijuita along with my journal. I just need to take action off the paper. :-D
