Dialogue with Siedah Garrett

Posted Feb 7, 2009 11:50 AM
I just finished listening to Ellie Drake’s interview with Siedah Garrett – singer, songwriter and so much more…and wanted to share my thoughts.

The word Balance certainly caught my ear when Siedah was speaking – as it is something so many of us look to achieve in different areas of life -- within and outside of ourselves. Siedah has managed to find a balance in her musical career in order to keep herself inspired and grounded - something that is important to remember.

“Refuse to complain about something we can change.”
Siedah being a doer sets a great example of taking on responsibility, taking action Now vs later - one more nudge to encourage us forward.

Later in the interview a significant observation is brought forth by Siedah who reminds us of what we can expect when transitioning from one type of career to another ... You will certainly want to hear this for yourself as you are learning to pursue your passion.

There is an enormous amount of value given to us with each interview. Each dialogue is a wonderful gift from Ellie, and personally I look forward to learning and growing with each conversation.

I suggest that we all make time to treat ourselves, and listen to each refreshing conversation.

And with that said, I wish you a productive day!

Dearest Lynette,

There were so many "GEMS" throughout Ellie's interview with Siedah...

Lynette, I was deeply touched when Siedah shared the story about the lady who was contemplating taking her life & how Siedah's song... saved her Life!

I could FEEL Siedah's Passion...
