Ritual Divas - Can You Find Satisfaction?
Dear Lynette, Thank you for sharing ... I have always scribbled a "To Do" List on a daily basis ... and I DO mean scribble ... I work in an environment of "unpredictability" and that means on occasion I need to let my "To Do" List go without feeling guilty ... Priorities often have to be established on the fly! ... And, that is what has the potential to frustrate novices ... but it IS what fascinates me about what I do and WHY I LOVE what I do sooooo much ... I have learned to multi-task ... to work loooong, hard hours ... and to LOVE it ALL ... The sense of mastery that has come from being on task for years and years of challenging and very hard work is soooo gratifying in my senior years that I would not change anything except at the margins ... In spite of the rather chaotic nature of the work environment I thrive in, a "To Do" List, even if only scribbled has always been extremely helpful ... A reminder of what needs to get done ... With gratitude for your sharing ... my love, respect, and many blessings ... Aloha pume hana, Barb
