This is amazing, a site for strong women and a place for support.
I run a non-profit organization and started it when I was 16, I am now 18. I fight very hard for my business because it's not a well known condition that I support. I have had RSD for 10yrs now, and it is a terrible condition to have. I refuse to let it suck the life out of me, but it is very hard at times. I usually get "I don't know what that is" sorry I can't help you. My response is "Everything has to start somewhere, all the cancer foundations had to have a beginning" I am also young so people think I am not serious about this. Oh boy are they wrong, I could not be more serious about this just ask the board members lol. I help others buy durable medical needs and medication when they can't afford them , I help spread the awareness of RSD, and donate money to UCLA to help find a cure for this monster. No one involved with helping Rock Out To Knock Out RSD, inc. are paid. All money goes right back into helping others, that is why I wanted to start my own non-profit. I wanted to know exactly where every cent was going, and keep the organization honest and caring.
I am looking forward to reading all the stories and post of other women that believe "they can do any thing" and support each other.
Thank you,
Ashley

Wow Ashley!!!

You saw a need for people suffering and when there wasnt an answer for yourself and for them......you didnt lie down, give up, be the victim.....even when no one would fault you for it being all that you have been through....you focus on a solution...form a nonprofit......with a dynamite logo I might add.......and brave on............courageously!

You are truly a BraveHeart Woman.....I am honored to meet you!

Sincerely,

Debra

Hello Ashley,
Welcome to Braveheart Women.

You are a very brave person for having suffered RSD for 10 years now.

Putting up a non-profit organization is also very commendable especially since you are still very young.

Good luck in your endeavor. I will be praying for you and your success.

All the best,
Saanva/Salvacion
