My Christmas Thoughts

Posted Dec 23, 2009 02:24 AM
There is a strange wave of satisfaction in giving something to someone you know will never be able to pay you back. And throught my life i have also learnt not to let a day pass without my stretching my hand to give something to another.

It could be Lunch, a smile, a hug, love, anything you can name.People walk into your life in need of just a dime and human nature tells you to ignore them and move on with your life after all there are better things to do.

This christamas i want us to share something with someone who can never repay us in any way ever.

I have been thinking of all those kids i have seen and met so many times over the years who had nothing and no one to make them know the happiness of christmas.

3 months ago, actually on my birthday i went to visit a place called community transformaers(CT) in Mathare slums Nairobi.

I dint have much but the little i had, shared with kids who have never known love all their lives made a huge impact in my life.

I have a dream of establishing a rehabilitation center for abused, infected and affected kids in future and in this dream i see us celebrating christams as we sing carols by candle light. I intend to put a permanent smile on their little beautiful faces.

In my thoughts i see a lot of satisfaction, peace and love circulating among them that have had no chance for the same and i have made up my mind that in future this will not just be a dream am gonna make it a reality.

Lets us share these thoughts by giving another who can never pay back to us.

The formality of sharing gifts with family members and frinds can have a small extension to others who have never belonged

Merry X-mas braveheart women
