Have you ever wonder what the difference between being judgmental and having the capacity to discriminate is?

Clarity shows us:

We often lack the understanding to be able to distinguish between the brain's physiological ability to discriminate, which is an important and valuable intelligence function, and our emotionally based repressive pattern of self-judgment.

When we lack this clarity, which we need to end our suffering, we turn our ability to judge against ourselves and others.

This inner repressive judge, is made of ideals and beliefs that we learned from parents, society, school, religion, and authority when we were children.

We internalize these ideals and react to them with fear, guilt, anger, resentment, anxiety, and denial, which causes us to act out by either rebelling against these judgments or submitting to them.

Now, let’s do the Clarification Process to get the Clarity Snaps you need to develop your capacity to discern the difference between these two.

Sit in a comfortable upright position, close your eyes, relax your face and your shoulders and listen to the sound of seven in breaths and seven out breaths. Bring the following question inside as you listen to the sound of your breathing. What does my clarity want me to learn about how my body and emotions are affected by judging myself according to ideals I learned as a child.

Sense into your body and trust your first answer and remember your answer may not come right away, it could arise when you are doing the dishes or watching T.V. TRUST THAT IT WILL COME! Great!

REMEMBER: As you develop your clarity you will sense how your breathing, body and emotions are affected when you judge yourself according to fixed ideals and beliefs. When you are using your power of discrimination your body, breathing, and emotions will be affected totally differently.

Together we are growing in clarity.

That is how you will KNOW the difference.I invite you to join me in the 'Sisterhood of Clarity' where we dissolve the blocks that get in the way. Click Here

Aloha Barb,
How wonderful that you are questioning how you view important choices you make in your life. Curiosity is a vital component of personal development. I sense your mind and heart are open to seeing, knowing and learning and that is fabulous.:-x

Dear BraveHeart Radha,

Thank you for sharing ... :-x ...

Aha! ... I think I'm getting an idea of the nuanced, but very real, difference ... and I am wondering ... I've been tilting at windmills all of my life ... I think it's honorable to do so ... and I think I will always persist in the "battle" ... However, I am wondering ... if there is detrimental judgment involved in the process ...

I know I am very picky about how, with whom, and when I "engage" ... I "judge" that simply as making good "business" and time decisions ... However, your Blog post causes me pause to consider this question ... and when time permits, I will attempt to find the answer as I am understanding that we EACH must TRULY find our own answers primarily because we are EACH individuals with unique and different answers to the same or similar questions ...

Am I on the right track? ... ?:| ...

Standing UP for "what is RIGHT" has always been my personal MO ... This has caused me great _______ over my lifetime as I know few, including myself, can live up to "what's RIGHT" all the time in every interaction ... about all things ... Life is much too complex for that and even the definition of "what's RIGHT" is not always easily discerned ...

So, I shall seek the clarity that lies within ... and I'll get back to you ... ;) ... Thanks for posing this question or dilemma ...

With profound and abundant gratitude ... my great respect ... my love and many blessings ... :-x ...

Aloha pume hana,

Barb
