"My Destiny"

Posted May 12, 2009 08:07 AM
Although I am a diabetic and anemic, I have dead bones in both wrists which can be very painful, I suffer from severe depression, God wakes me up everymorning to count my blessings. I don't claim any of my conditions, for God is my healer. I'm recovering from drugs and alcohol and abusive relationships. I know if I keep my focus on my higher power whom I choose to call "God", each day will get a little better. I love this new way of life, and although I've been clean for five years, all thats happened in my life really let's me appreciate all the little things I once took for granted. Life is so precious, and it's my destiny to fulfill my dreams, and continue to do what God has in store for me to do.

Hi Tracy! :) I am sure we will receive many inspiring testimonials from your challenges. We are glad that you chose to embrace this community. The accomplishment of your challenges can be exercised now to assist others. I remember something that I learned from my inspirational mentor Ellie Drake:

A sculpted teacher is one who has been sculpted by pressures and by their own Will. I now choose to draw upon these resources as Grace to teach, share, empower and inspire. In this way, I extend the process of sculpting, increasing my own depth to better serve others.
