We have come to the end of a year we had never seen before, and one we will never see again. As we say good-bye 2009 and welcome a new decade, I want to thank you for allowing me to spend time with you throughout the year. I appreciate your support and look forward to another year of love, joy, peace, happiness, sharing, caring and blessings. I hope that 2009 was a successful year for you, and 2010 will be your best year ever.
Did you ask life a lot of questions in 2009? Did you ask life questions such as; who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going when I leave here? Why do I have struggles? Why things do not happen when, and how I want them to? Why isn’t life fair? And finally what will 2010 be like for me? Whether you asked these questions or not, they are questions we can ask as we reposition ourselves for a new year.
We should have much gratitude for the answers we received, and we should roll the unanswered ones into Twenty-Ten. We pray that all our questions will be answered, and that Twenty Ten will be a very eventful with abundance and prosperity for all of us.
Usually, about mid-way in the year I do a self-assessment to see if I am on track and how many of the goals that I set at the beginning of the year have been accomplished. I make adjustments as I go along.
The most amazing thing to me is how life gets in the way. That is a lesson for me, that I am not in total control, and as long as I do my best, I have the right to be content with the end results.
By the end of October, I begin to re-evaluate where I am in terms of the original goals I set. I begin to see what unresolved issues I have, I try to pay off whatever bills I have, because I want to enter the new year FRESH. I choose to leave the negatives behind and embrace the positives.
My intention is to enter the New Year with great expectations and with excitement. I really anticipate a productive year.
Finally, I celebrate every success, every victory, big and small with gratitude. I appreciate the challenges and failures; because it is from those that I learn some valuable lessons. I rewrite my vision, mission statement and my WHY and post them in my house where I can read them every morning and at night before going to bed.
I pray that you will have a year filled with optimal health, prosperity and abundance.
