THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION

Posted Mar 5, 2010 11:43 AM
Transformation is to change in composition or structure; to change the outward form or appearance; to change in character or condition.
~Mirriam-Webster's Online Dictionary~

~I have come to learn that transformation in part, is getting rid of the old mindset, self-limiting beliefs and set points. It is embracing the person I truly am-a human being created in the image and likeness of God, to perform His will for me.

I cannot allow my thoughs to get in the way of my progress. Do you know those thoughs that are contrary to who you know you are, and what you are capable of doing. For example, if I say I am going to write a poem and then I say, I do not have the capacity to write. I must challenge that thought, and pick up the pen and paper, or get on the computer and begin to write. I must take captive all thoughts that do not bless and inspire me.

God's will is for me to have faith, trust and obey Him, prosper, be in health, and live an abundant life here on earth. It is letting go of all the unpleasant experiences I have had, and the contrary things that people have said to me; as well as the lies I have believed about myself-those are things that may have kept me back or down for far too long.

It is a shift in my paradigm, where I release myself from the shackles of my past, and make the decision that no matter what comes in my path to try and stop me now; I will not bow, but rise above them, crucify my fleshly desires, give up worldly pleasures, and stick to the plan of God for my life.~

~This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Galatians 5:16-17.

BONUS:
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20.~

Amen.
