Aug. 24-2010 – Seasonal Healing…Fall is for Building up……a healthy immune system.

Living in the Creston Valley at this time of year is the ultimate experience of abundance.

This valley produces a variety of food

for us to consume and enjoy to increase our health and vitality.

Wherever you are living, look around and see what is growing near you,

and take action in collecting the “fresh stuff”.

I’d like to bring to your attention the two types of harvest::

- regular agriculture (that we actively choose to plant and harvest),

and,

- wildcrafted and grown by nature her self.

The harvesting of both these food groups,

play a key role in enhancing your health and well-being.

As you drive around the valley or out in the country at this time of year,

you will see an abundant of signs hanging in driveways and at the fruit stands displaying what is available to eat, fresh, and hot off the crops.

Look for “you pick” signs,

and bring your family for an experience that is “beyond” the food quality and nutrition.

Picking fruit in the country is “in and of itself”,

a health producing activity, that is fun for the whole family.

My son and I picked 10 lbs. of blueberries yesterday,

(sorry, I totally forgot to take a picture), but I may go back and shoot a video for you.:)

To-day I will discuss the regular grown foods that we like to plant and harvest,

and later in the week I will write about the wild, natural growing superfoods.

The food in abundance right now includes:

- cherries, peaches, apricots, plums, watermelons, muskmelons, grapes, and an excellent winter fruit…apples..

In the vegetable category the fall foods include:

- tomatoes, many varieties of squash, beets, carrots, turnips, rutabagas, zucchini, kohlrabi, garlic, onions, and the list goes on.

It is best to eat all of the above while it’s still fresh and raw.

There is more “life and vitality” when foods are picked and consumed right away.

They are filled with enzymes and nutrients only found in freshly harvested food,

so get your fill now while you can.

Many of the fall vegetables and fruits provide “building up’ of the immune system.

Beets for example are loaded with minerals, vitamin A, and build the blood significantly.

They eliminate acid waste in the bowels,

support and cleanse the liver and gallbladder as well as the digestive and lymphatic systems.

Grate them, juice them, steam them and enjoy their multiple health benefits.

Another favourite is spaghetti squash.

This squash will specifically nourish the elimination, digestion and nervous system.

I use spaghetti squash as a spaghetti.

SPAGHETTI SQUASH RECIPE:

1 Spaghetti squash

8 – 12 oz. tomatoes (fresh, blanched & peeled and blended for sause)

onions, garlic, green peppers, celery or anything else you like putting into your tomato sauce.

Cut the squash in half,

lay on a tray with water in the bottom, bake @ 350 F. approx. 45 minutes,

or until it is tender like a potato would be.

Scrape out the seeds, keep them to eat, they’re delicious.

Use a spaghetti utensil to scrape the spaghetti squash out of it’s shell.

Add a little butter or olive oil, your tomato sauce,

and VOILA, a gluten-free spaghetti.

Serve with a fresh salad and your set.

Delicious and Nutritious.

Remember, the nutrients we receive from foods affect our thoughts,

our flexiblity, our clarity of mind, and our passion for life.

NOW is the time to pick, eat and store the abundance of food available to you.

The 2 best ways to preserve your food is through drying and freezing.

This leaves the enzymes in tact, as compared to canning.

(I know canning is becoming more popular again, and it is definately better

to can your own food than buy it, but try to keep some for drying and freezing too.)

Root vegetables will store better during the winter,

so stock up on those as well.

Enjoy the abundance and notice the differance in your health.

And hey,

thanks for being here.

Your Natural Health and Transformation Coach,

Annette

PS If you have never gone to a farm and picked your own fruit or

vegetables and eaten them ..fresh off the vine….it may be time…do it now…

and taste the differance while you enjoy the experience.

It appears that shoulder pain and injuries are on the rise,

particularly for women over the age of 40.

This is a new area of discovery for me,

as I have recently injured my shoulder,
and not thinking there was much to worry about.

When I mentioned my injured shoulder to other women friends of mine,

I began to hear a common reply...

"get it checked by your Dr., and don't wait, because it can get worse".

Okay, so I did that, a few months ago...

and she said to do this one exercise, as I guess at that time, my injury wasn't too bad?

I also went to the chiropractor (NUCCA) method, and that helped alot,

it was possible to dance, and curl my hair, not too much discomfort.

Then last week I bumped my head on a newly placed "hanging flower basket",

so my "reaction was to protect my head",

and my arm reached quickly overhead...

and KA-BAM...intense pain followed.

Back to the Dr.,

who this time thought it may be a problem with the "rotator cuff",

so, off to the Physiotherapist to-day,

who was even less optimistic, after assessing me.

Appararently it appears that I have possibly damaged the cartilage that attaches to the

bone, called "labrum",

and it is difficult to heal, and may very possibly require surgery,

although all the information (x-rays), are not in yet.

I have a feeling my herbs aren't going to quite pull me out of this shoulder injury on their own.

So....how did this happen, and what's the message in it?

1. I have not been as active in the past 12 months....due to the fact that I have

been learning all of this "on-line" technology,

and totally forgot that I have been "sitting" 6 hours a day,

compared to when I "ran around working" 8 hours a day. (OOPS).

2. Then, when I moved back to the country, had my horse close by, and started

to "carry 10 lb. pails of feed" every day,

I didn't think about "building up" my strength first,

and then working "upto" the 10 lbs. in each arm bit by bit!

I just thought, oh good this should get me in shape...Ha!

There was also other insults to the shoulder, like a fall on that arm,

and trying to "train my dog to heal",... improperly, I might add.

3. Ignoring the small injury, thinking it would heal..... until it turned into a bigger injury.

So the moral of the story is,

if you are a women over the age of 40,

it is time to strengthen your shoulder muscles with the proper exercises at home,

and keep them toned and strong. (see a fitness instructor or videos on line).

If you have gone from a physical job,

farming or carrying children around,

and you change your daily work habits to a desk job of some kind,

you cannot just "pick up" where you left off.

(my girlfriend this past week had a similar experience,

she gardened and pulled all the muscles in her back,

she too went from a hard working physical job into a desk job,

and "didnt think twice about working in the garden...until the next morning when she felt the pain.).. OOPS again.

Our age and the depletion of the nutrients in our food supply also contribute to the cause of

these injuries.

We are not getting proper minerals and nutrients from the commercial food supply,

and it is taking a toll on our health in many ways, from children to ...women ove r 40.

Oh by the way,

to help with inflammation,

I am taking lots of plant enzymes,

and externally, I am using an essential oil blend I make which also helps.

Let's hope this serves as a reminder to us all,

and brings in the awareness that...as my girlfriend says....

our 30 year old mind,

does not think about our 50 year old bodies!

Now we will,

be pro-active, exercise and strengthen our bodies,

and reduce these type of injuries.

Have you experienced any of these injuries?

Or has someone you know?

How did your situation turn out.....

I'm looking for clues .....

as my journey in this area....

has just begun.

Please comment below,

I'd like to know.

With the month of May arriving,
comes the freshly grown asparagus
from our local valley fields.

I was inspired by the BHW interview,
to "create a green drink for dinner to-nite".

Which was perfect timing,
since we are attending a "lite dinner and Herbal growing co-op" meeting to-nite.

I will list a couple of the ingredients and
many of the vegetables health benefits,
then below will be the simple
recipe.

The best thing, this dinner only takes 5 minutes to make.

Bravo!

First ingredient: freshly harvested asparagus.

Asparagus is known to act as a general kidney stimulant. and can be irritating to the kidneys if taken in excess, or if the kidney's are too inflamed,
otherwise it is a natural spring kidney flush.

It contains a high content of chlorophyll which is a good blood builder.
The asparagus tips are also high in Vitamin A,
have a good water content which is helpful during elimination diets.

Second Ingredient:

Avocado:

The mighty avocado contains 14 minerals, including iron and copper, and helps to prevent nutritional anemia. It also contains sodium and potassium,
which give this fruit a high alkaline reaction.

Cucumber:

We could write a book about cucumbers benefits,
but here are the highlights:
- cucumbers are cooling to the body and the blood,
where the saying "cool as a cucumber" comes from.
- they are a wonderful digestive aid, and have a purifying effect on the bowel.
- they are an alkaline food.
- have a wide variety of B-vitamins and minerals too.

Celery: Another star alkalining vegetable.

Celery is another alkaline food with a high water content. It can be juiced, blended in soups, or eaten as a vegetable with almond butter tucked into it.

Celery is generally known as a sodium food, the good natural sodium, (not to be confused with processed table salt. )
Remember, in nature, there are other minerals present, not just one.

Sodium is the mineral salt known as the "Youth maintainer of the body". It helps to keep us stay flexible, limber and repairs stiff sore joints and muscles.

- it neutralizes acid and is a good blood cleanser.
- it is also required for the walls of the stomach, and also benefits the brain and nervous system.

We need to increase the consumption of the wonderful vegetable, and putting it in a green smoothie is one easy way to do that.

Now onto the Basic Asparagus-Cucumber- Celery Green Masterpiece.

1 cup Asparagus, (cut the tough ends off)
1 Avocado
1 Celery
1/2 Cucumber
1 Tbsp. Hemp Oil
A handful of Cilantro
1/2 garlic clove.
A squeeze of fresh lemon to taste
Dab of Himalayan sea salt
1 cup of water (add more as desired)

In a Vita-Mix - blend on low for a minute or two,
then onto High speed for a minute,
and Presto,
a Delicious,
and NUTRITIOUS,
IN SEASON,
GREEN DRINK.

Drinking one of these a day, will allow healing to occur, from the Inside-Out!

Enjoy,

Annette
PS
I'd love to hear from you, have you made a green drink? Share your recipe, I'd love to try it.

I have some amazing, results oriented information I am thrilled to share with you to-day.

In to-day’s fast pace lifestyle, we are aware of stress, and how it has a negative effect on our health, and we are so used to it, that we don’t even realize how much it is really affecting us.

How does this stress we experience on a daily basis affect our bodies, and the chemical balance in our brain?

We suffer with problems such as:

- poor memory,

- anxiety,

- mood swings

- feelings of sadness or depression,

- difficulty sleeping

- difficulty in “thinking positive”,

- hyperactivity in kids, and kids unable to focus or complete projects.

Can many of these struggles be contributed to a lack of nutrients?

More specifically a lack of “neurotransmitters” in the brain?

Scientific studies have shown that many problems such as stress, hyperactivity, and even alcoholism can be linked to an imbalance of chemicals in the brain.

Brain cells “communicate” with each other using chemical messengers called neurotransmitters, composed of amino acids.

When the brain is deficient of certain amino acids, these neurotransmitters stop functioning correctly.

The result is a range of emotional and mental difficulties-the inability to concentrate and think clearly, or to cope with everyday stress, even depression and addictions. If we don’t get to the root cause of these problems, it’s difficult to make progress.

When we experience stress on a regular basis, it also disrupts our digestive systems, (which is also a place where neurotransmitters reside), and our brain health, as we become “depleted” in these specific nutrients.

These “neurotransmitters” form thoughts, store and retrieve information in the brain, and translate thoughts and memories into physical actions and emotions. These chemicals may be affected by predisposition, inherent weaknesses, stress, diet and other factors. When there is an imbalance, it can affect many aspects of our daily life, including whether we have clarity of mind, sharp memory, calm feelings, and a relaxed state of mind and body.

I have come across an incredible supplement that I have found to provide relief and improvement, in many of these areas.

This product is called NEU-Becalm’d, and the company is called Neurogenesis. Neu-Becalm’d helps to restore brain chemistry naturally and improves the function of neurotransmitters. This in turn can improve mental function , and has also been found to provide significant improvement for children as well.

Neu-Becalm’d was initially used to reduce stress and increase feeling of calmness and clear thinking. The benefits have now been expanded in assisting people with addictions such as smoking, drinking, gambling, and in assisting children in school become more calm and focused.

If you have been struggling with any of these challenges, there is hope.

Neu-Becalmed strengthens the brain and relieves many problems associated with stress and the inability to maintain concentration.

It is a natural product with a precise formula of vitamins, minerals and amino acids which work together synergistically.

Neu-Becalmed is:

Holisitic – Restoring brain chemistry through nutrition.

Safe – A synergistic formulation of free form amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

Non-Addictive – Containing no drugs.

High Quality – Using only the highest grade pharmaceutical ingredients.

Patented Formula.

If you want to support your body and mind, to feel more aligned, peaceful and focused, this may be a starting place for you and your family. This is not intended to replace your Medical Doctor’s recommendations, but is intended to empower you to continue to research and educate yourself in this matter of health and well-being.

A diet of natural foods, enzymes, clean water, and exercise are also important in maintaining and reclaiming a healthy body, mind and Spirit.

If you’d like to read more information on this amazing product and it’s benefits visit:

http://www.neurogenesis-inc.com/58602

I hope this information provides insight and education which will help improve your health, and inspire you to take action.

Stress does affect our memory, and many other aspects of health, and there is hope and help for improvement.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

It is a journey,

to increase our health and well-being,

to feel more joy and peace in our lives,

and there are many routes we can take along the way.

It is not only what we eat, think and drink.

Everything is energy,

and just like we “inherit” physical health challenges

from our fore-fathers and mothers,

we also inherit “energetic and emotional” challenges.

Recently I attended a one day Family Constellation workshop.

This work is amazing,

and can clear up long standing “blocks” we just can’t seem to “see” or break through.

We may be experiencing difficulty in moving forward because we are “carrying someone elses luggage” from a previous generation, and we don’t even know it.

There is no blame or shame in this work, only understanding and love.

Here is a description from the facilitator’s of this work:
“Family Constellation work is an effective process that helps break unhealthy family patterns of unhappiness, illness, failure and addiction. Often the root of the problem originates in our family history.

Systemic Constellation work is a powerful psychological and spiritual process, that initiates healing at a soul level and allows us to experience the fullness of our human potential.” Blanche & Harreson Tanner.

This process does not require re-living or talking about the issues and challenges in length.

All that is required is a few sentences on what your challenges or struggle is, and then allow the process to unfold.

It is the type of process that must be “experienced” to

appreciate, and the benefits continue to unfold long after the workshop is over.

If you are experiencing “stuck spots” in your life, and/or with a family member,

this work may provide an avenue of healing, not only for you,

but for the generations that came before you, and the generations that follow after you.

Powerful work, that is quite simple, and freeing.

Does any of this resonate with you?

If so, you can find out more on this work at Blanche and Harreson’s website:

http://www.lifeshiftseminars.com – look for the link on the left “Family Constellations”.

We are all in this together,

and there are certain times in our lives,

which seem to call upon us to heal at a deeper level.

Is it your time?

I hope sharing my experiences can help one

more soul,

move forward and live more fully in their own,

Human and Spiritual potential.

Enjoy the ride,

Help, Guidance, and Support surround us.

Balancing our Blood Sugars- and how it affects all of us, not just Diabetics.

Did you realize there are just as many people suffering from “low blood sugars”,
on a daily basis, as there are high blood sugars?
Not the low’s experienced from “insulin induced low’s, I am referring to the low blood sugar’s caused by:
- excess stress,
- improper eating habits,
- and little or no exercise.

Diabetes, is everywhere, and everyone is scrambling to “cure this dis-ease”.

It is a rare occurrence for there to be information presented on both aspects
of these “blood sugar imbalances”, the low and the high.

I would like to bring this into the awareness to-day, so we can re-consider how this affects all of us.

When you haven’t eaten for 4 or 5 hours, you may suddenly feel
hungry, or shaky, tired or crabby.

I suffered with these symptoms, and I didn’t know what it was.

These feelings can be an indication that your body needs food, the blood sugars are
dropping, and it is giving you the warning signal.
We can experience fluctuating low blood sugars for quite a long time,
years, and not even realizing what our problem is.
If you crave sugar in the afternoon, like sweets, pasta, juice, coffee, donuts,
then there is a good chance your blood sugars are dropping or have dropped too fast.
This is creating the craving for sugar.

Imbalanced blood sugars create MANY health problems,
including, heart, memory, and circulation problems.

We are into November Diabetes Awareness Month.

I would encourage us all to consider that November is: “ Balancing Blood Sugar Month.

Notice how you are feeling in the afternoon, and how much fast acting carbohydrates are you eating?
How do you feel afterwards? Perhaps you have a blood sugar imbalance you weren’t aware of.

Pretend you are a diabetic for a day, and really notice, and ask yourself, how much insulin would
I need to administer to myself, if I was a Type I Diabetic, for the meal I just ate?
This can help us become aware of our eating habits, and encourage us to make small changes now,
so we don’t build the more serious health challenges later.
3 SIMPLE AND PROFOUND HEALTH TIPS FOR BALANCING YOUR BLOOD SUGARS:
1. Start your day with an easy to digest protein, such as hemp hearts, hemp protein, or eggs with enzymes if you do not have hemp available.
2. Eat every 2 hours, never go 4 or 5 hours without a snack.
The best snacks are:
- nuts and seeds chewed well, or nut butters.
- - fresh organic or homegrown vegetables,
- and fresh fruit.
Dried Goji berries and Mulberries are also excellent to mix with your raw nuts.
3. When you are eating a high carbohydrate meal like pasta, include a BIG GREEN SALAD,
to provide the fibre required to slow down the blood sugar spike, created from eating fast releasing carbohydrate foods. All green foods also provide the minerals and alkaline effect we are looking for to improve our health.

Remember, blood sugar’s effect all of our health, the more we become aware, the better choices we can make.

Creating Balance….One meal at a time.

Why Natural Health-My Story
admin on October 21st, 2009

When I was younger, in my 20’s, I was partier. I liked to drink, smoke, dance and have fun. Then a few health challenges began to appear.

1. I was on “the birth control pill” and at my yearly check-up they found ‘cervical cancer’.

2. I started gaining weight, quite a bit of weight, and I was really tired, even needing naps after work.

3. Then, I started getting yeast infections.

I went to the Dr. for the first 2 symptoms, and followed through with their recommendations of “laser surgery” for the cancer, and thyroid medication for the weight gain and low energy. No other recommendations were given to me.

When the 3rd symptom appeared, I looked for other answers.

This time a girlfriend suggested a natural health product at a health food store. So off I went. I walked into a health food store, bought a bottle of the recommended product, and also came home with a book, “BEYOND BASIC HEALTH”, by Bernard Jensen.

Well, that book changed my life. It educated me that we “don’t just get cancer, or any other health challenges.” It informed me that our eyes have the answer’s to everything that is going on “inside our bodies”, health wise, and that with nutrition, herbs and natural ways, the “body will heal itself”! Whoa, that was a lot to take in.

I am a person of ACTION, so I looked in the yellow pages and found an Iridologist. I wanted to find out what my eyes had to say? I made an appt with her, and she had lots to say to me. Her first sentence was, “girl, you’ve been living life on the wild side”! (Yikes, she got that right).

She gave me many recommendations, nutritional, herbal, and more. I got started and re-gained my energy. Within 2 years I even quit smoking, stopped drinking by about 80%, and kept inching my way to vibrant health.

That was 15 years ago, and I have been a student of Natural Health ever since. I studied Iridology, Herbalism, Whole Food Nutrition, Vibrational medicine, Aromatherapy, Flower Essences, and many more.

I didn’t change all my bad habits over night. It has been a process, and bit by bit, I began to “un-do” the damage I did to my body. It is a journey, and it feels awesome to take control of my own health, and my family too.

When I learned about all of this, I made a wish. I wanted to move to the country, learn about natural health and raise a family in this type of environment. Within 4 months, that is exactly what happened. My husband was able to receive a transfer, I quit my job of 14 years and we moved to the country, 9 hours away and over 2 mountain passes.

Now I have been studying and practicing Natural Health for 15 years, and I can help you get clear on how you can “get started”. If you want to take control of your health, and RECLAIM your health, I am here to give you hope, guidance, inspiration, motivation, knowledge and understanding.

If you are struggling with:

- Low energy, mood swings, & pms/menopause symptoms,

- or, unbalanced blood sugars, irritability, and low energy,

- or maybe, long standing colds, and flus, headaches, sleepless nights are bothering you.

- Maybe you have no energy left to go out and HAVE FUN.!

There are some key steps that can be taken to RECLAIM YOUR HEALTH.

These are all symptoms of a body that is under nourished in specific key nutrients. That’s it, not enough of the proper nutrients “absorbed” by your body, and you are out of balance.

Re-fill your tank with high octane fuel, clear away some unwanted toxins, and you will purr like a kitten. Really, I’m not kidding.

When I read that book, Beyond Basic Health, I knew I didn’t want to live and raise a family in the rat race of the city. I took the leap of faith, and followed my dreams.

What dreams do you have? It’s never too late, and the sooner you start, the easier it is. I learned a lot, and making these changes was HUGE for me. So I know you can do it too.

Is it your time to say YES?

Are you ready to move forward to LIVING YOUR GREATEST LIFE EVER?

One step at a time my friend, one step at a time.

In my newsletters, I will share more of my story, tips and video’s, and more ways to assist you in “feeling better and better”.

Thanks for joining me, on this Journey,

Feel Vibrant and Alive…In Record Time!

16 Green Smoothie – Fast Food
Now that the kids are back to school, I’m ready to start making more “green drinks” for my lunch.

To-day is the day.

I’m not an expert at being a raw foodist, but I have tried it and love the energy and well-being I get from “eating more raw foods”. So to-day when I looked in the fridge, yesterday’s lettuce was sitting in the bowl, and I really didn’t feel like a cooked egg, so out came the Vita-Mix.

Here’s my 7 minute make and clean-up time for a FABULOUS FAST FOOD GREEN LUNCH.

1 handful lettuce

1/2 cucumber

1 carrot

2 Tbsp. Raw sesame seeds

1 cup water

sea salt

1 tbsp. Glory bowl dressing (already homemade previously)

Blend for about 2 minutes, pour and drink. YUM. It is so good, and easy too.

I am not sure why I think eating raw food is difficult. This was easy, and takes 7 minutes, including clean-up time. BRAVO!

Now for the health benefits.

1. Raw food has all it’s enzymes in place, and the nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fiber, and phytonutrients are absorbed easily into your body.

2. Sesame seeds are high in protein and minerals.

3. Lettuce, carrots and cucumber each offer their own specific nutrients, such as fibre, beta-carotene, and cucumber is a great digestive aid, alkaline and cooling to the system.

Drinking one of these a day, provides 3 servings of alkaline vegetables. On cold days, I would add ginger to heat things up a bit.

So I hope I can inspire you to try this sometime when you are in a rush.

Instead of grabbing something from a bag, container, box, or pre-cooked package, make yourself a “vegetable blender drink” that your body will love, and the best part, is feeling more energy and well-being for the rest of the day.

Have you made a vege. blender drink or fast raw food?

Share your comments and or recipes. I would love to see them.

Cheers to “Greater Health”,

One more year of summer fun is now in our rear view mirror.

Kids are back to school, and routines are re-established.

What about the moms and dads?

Are you feeling the pressure of "back to school"?

Or,

maybe you are relieved,

business as usual is re-established?

Oh , wait a minute, how did we forget about,

parent meetings, fundraising, field trips, homework, nutrition,

and soccer practice too!!!

My son came home last night,

and promptly set out 4 differant forms for me to read and fill out.

I jokingly asked him, "Why is it, that you go back to school, and I get the homework"?

HIs reply: "Caus' your the mom"!

Simple answer, and true enough.

How does this story relate to YOUR health?

It's a small example of "a differant stress". The back to school, stress.

So I encourage you to ask yourself this one question....

Am I running from work, to meetings, to soccer, and staying up late to "catch up"?

If you answered yes,
here are three simple steps to reduce the stress of "back to school".

1. add a high powered breakfast to start your day, like a hemp smoothie, this will amp up your energy reserves, and reduce the 3pm crash feeling.
2. make a quick list of all your "to do's", and re-evaluate them.

Can you say "no" to one activity or obligation that will relieve the pressure?

Can you say "no" to someone or something, so you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy the process of "being a mom" ?

Stress and rushing reduces your ability to repair and re-juvenate.

And finally step 3:

BREATHE, 3 deep breaths in, with a huge SIGH out.

This will help to shift the vibration of stress, into one of relaxation.
Do it while you drive to and from work, in the shower, on a walk.
Feel the differance it makes.

And remember, knowlede is great...and ACTION is even better.

Try it...and have a peaceful, smooth transition....

because...Moms are "back to school" too.

Feel Vibrant and Alive...In Record Time!

Here we go...the mineral to give you that Frisky horse feeling is....

Iron, and not synthetic man-made iron. I'm talking about real natural Whole food iron.

You know what food is high in this blood building mineral?

Black Cherries, the dark red/black kind, Bings are excellant.

Yes, the delcious fruit that is in season now.

They are loaded with the mineral iron.

And that's not all.

They are also high in calcium (for the bones), phosphorous (for the brain), and Vitamins B & A, plus a whole lot more.

Synergy my friend, is the answer to absorbing iron into the blood.

So take action now.

Feel like the Frisky horse.

Get your fresh cherries, eat them whole, juice them, and......

Pick them, pit them, freeze them and use them all winter long in smoothies.

Increase iron = increased oxygen = Increased Energy!!

Enjoy the Abundance Mother Nature has provided us.

Phew, I just got back from a "3,000- km. tour" across 2 provinces with my husband, 2 sons, and "memere', aka grandma.
A whirlwind trip back to my home town, where I was born, and the old farm. It was fun showing my boys where I grew up. The flatlands of Saskatchewan, prairies and fields of grain growing right to the horizon of blue sky's.
We also had a family re-union, with the oldest member being 91, and the youngest 6 months or so?
It was a great time, games, lots of visiting, outdoor fires, dancing and lots of food. Good thing for plant enzymes to help digest the celebration mode of eating, and hemp and bee pollen for extra nutrients .:)
I am looking forward to the Prosperity Hormone call to-morrow morning, can't wait!!!!
Nice to be back in the flow of things.

I have heard you want to AMP UP your Energy.

You want to get started, NOW.

AND, you want it to be easy.

Okay, so you are ready, so am I.

Let's get started in Amping Up Your Energy.

Step 1- Protein

Would you like to have a razor sharp memory?

Did you know that in order to have a sharp memory, your brain requires protein that is broken down into amino acids?

Not only that, but protein is required to enhance your nervous system AND that includes your "mood" system.

If we run out of enzymes in our bodies, (which we do if we're eating cooked and processed food), then we cannot "break down" the proteins like meat, into useable "amino acids".

You know what else assimilatad protein does?
It ensures we have a great sleep. Without a balance of all of the amino acids, we do not produce the chemical elements such as melatonin, and seratonin.
These are the "happy hormones", and deep sleeping ingredients.

Easy to absorb protein.

It's a bulding block we all need for Enhanced Vibrant Health.

My experience of one of the best whole food protein's available, is Hemp. It is one of the oldest "plants", and it is re-emerging as one of the best Super - Whole Food health enhancer's.

Tired of taking 20 bottles of supplements? Whole foods and whole food supplements can save you time, money,

and give you a whole lot more ENERGY AND FUN.!

Whoa, I just read an excerpt from "Happy Pocketful of Money", stating this powerful statement.

Life is your Mind Expressed. In other words, Life is your thoughts, expressed. Dr. Jensen's statement that thought precedes everything, still stands to-day. So if we transfer this to feeling fantastic, we need to start "thinking" about "feeling fantastic"! The longer we chase our symptoms of feeling crappy, stiff, tired or whatever, the more of this we will get. Again, Life, the Source, uses your thought as the instructions by which to Create Your REality in the material world.

How do you WANT to FEEL? Write this down, now. Remember, it is possible to un-do physical ailments, and it starts with your thoughts. Do you want to feel energetic? Until you "think" about how you "want to feel", you can never create it. So start thinking thoughts of feeling great, running, climbing rock walls, or horseback riding. What do you LOVE to do that requires energy and flexibility. You can have it, start focusing on it, and the universe will send you what you need to ACHIEVE that dream. Catch your mind, when it's thinking non-healthy thoughts, switch it over, to healthy thoughts.

Go ahead, give it a try, and comment below, Have you noticed some thoughts you'd like to change???

Post it below, I'd love to hear from you.

It is the time of year that brings excitement in the Northern countries like Canada. Seeds are planted, and fresh raw yummy food is on it’s way. Eating locally and what’s in season is an easy way to “amp up” your health. The best part is in the “taste”. In my local neck of the woods, strawberries are starting to ripen, tomatoes in the greenhouses are ready, delicious fresh garden peas are next, then blueberries follow that. I can’t wait for the fresh taste of “picking off the vine”, there’s nothing like it. Peas only last a couple days before they taste starchy. Also, remember there are wild berries around, and they are packed with nutrients too. Just make sure you be careful around road sides, because quite often there are chemical sprays applied. Eating seasonally gives you the variety of nutrients, and taste combined.

Enjoy the abundance mother nature is offering, there is nothing quite like it.
