Childbirth is tied to life. The skills you receive with the Pink Kit can go beyond childbirth. These skills will help you focus and stay calm and centered in many different situations in life. It is continuity in life.

Choice in childbirth is an illusion because you do not know what could come up during the birth.

It is important to have skills so when things do not go as planned you have the skills to help the mother open up for the birth.

Childbirth preparation means acquiring skills to handle whatever comes up.

Expectant Father

Hi

I'm new to Braveheartwomen and have been introduced by Robin Buckley ... who has been great.

In the 1970s I developed a new angle to approaching childbirth and pregnancy. This is now Birthing Better with The Pink Kit Method®.

At 66 why would I still be interested in pregnancy and childbirth? Actually Birthing Better is all about the skills for both mothers and fathers-to-be.

Since I gave birth to my daughter in 1970s the conversation about childbirth and pregnancy has changed. By 1980s the present conversation became the conventional one. Does that make sense?

Anyway, now-a-days you hear women say: 'I had a Cesarean' or 'I had a vaginal birth'. That's how way off we've gotten. In reality 'I had a baby!'.

There is no doubt that creating a new conversation about pregnancy and childbirth takes time (I'm now on 40 years!) but the time is right.

Anyway, don't we want all expectant parents to know how-to work together with their baby's effort to be born no matter what the situation? That can happen now because we are all one Humanity, we share the same human body therefore we can prepare our pregnant body to be a birthing body in exactly the same manner.

Anyway, I'm passionate about skills, skills and skills and am always delighted when families learn, practice and use skills during their pregnancy and birth.

Here's a recent email I received:

'It think it (The Pink Kit Package) is an amazing resource and the more i get through, the more i amazed this info being learned by more pregnant women and their partner.

My partner is finding the information especially good- he was totally traumatised by our first birth, he thought both me and our son were going to die! It was a posterior labour and he felt really helpless. Having the Pink Kit has helped us work through a lot of that trauma.
Also as he is a massage therapist he is really relived to have some solid information to prepare himself for this coming baby'.

Is Birthing Better with The Pink Kit Method® different from other childbirth systems? Oh yes indeed but more about that later as I become more familiar with Braveheartwomen.
