WE can alter conditions in our life, as well as create a future that will provide experiences with more harmony and freedom, because we will gain victory over achieved outcomes or gain victory over learning from our challenges.

I needed an opportunity to become a “New Me. “ There are occasions in our lives that lead us into the direction of a creative change. My health issues along with my career in health administration led me passionately to create a community to search for answers that would assist others as well as myself. :-x

me at school.jpg

If your health is 100% in tip top condition,,,you may have family, friends, companions, co-workers or business associates that would appreciate a health tip that could lead them to search more for a way to upgrade the status of their health. Health care is changing and quite expensive.

I had to learn to cope with the physical limitations as well as the consistency of pain that were present in my life. My normal performance of life activities was quickly diminishing, as I slowly was led to leave my chosen career of nursing, but I didn't give up as I returned to school for a different healthcare career. I finally learned to manage pain and was attempting to function in a normal productive lifestyle, until I realized that my caring passions were leading me toward alternative solutions for others as well as myself. :-x

I had to stop thinking and start living by taking one day at a time.

I am grateful to our BraveHeart Women Global Community for “Inspiration In Action.”

As I observed the pure white snow falling in Georgia today, which is a rarity; I realized that a great cleansing of the soil was taking place. My thoughts immediately went to one of my evening affirmations from Ellie Drake's Easier Done Than Said Programs... I could hear Ellie calmly saying: The only way to keep the poison of resentment out of my blood is to forgive.

I forgive, not only the challenges and people that I intuitively know I should; but I also forgive myself at the same time. This act of self-forgiveness is fundamental to my happiness.

...and after the cleansing snow... :-x

I certainly hope not, because I am aiming very high in my personal goals!!!:-D

Synchronicity occurs whenever circumstances unfold in a way to beautifully complement and assist one another: creating an end result that perhaps exceeds one's expectations. I now declare that I am open to receiving the assistance of synchronicity. ~Ellie Drake

Who ever invented the crockpot knew exactly what they were doing to add flavor and tendeness to food. Sometimes our life might appear to be stationary, but sometimes it is just in a crockpot. Laughing ...and when it is done...step aside for the flavor of a lifetime to emerge. Smile

Intention

Does my first thought come from an ‘unconscious automatic response system’?...or does it come from a conscious and aware state of being?  The moment I feel a thought, it becomes an Intent. I now decide to create intentions that come from my choice to be aware.

My thoughts are the basis of my feelings and my feelings are the foundation of my intentions. I now wisely manage my thoughts, my feelings and therefore my intentions. ~ Ellie Drake :-D

Thank you Dr. Sugar, I do need my BraveHeart Sisters. :-x Sometimes you try to stay on top of things for so long that you fail to admit when your feet decides to slow your physical and emotional journey.

Two weeks ago I had to be assisted to get home because my mobility slowed down to a point where I could not walk on my own. I went home and retired to the bed to wait on my miracle and the next morning, doubt took a firm grip on my reality when I couldn't stand up by myself and walk alone.

For days I accepted my challenge as this is it...I'm done. But through prayer and my faith in God and hearing from my BraveHeart Sisters' blogs and comments as they were overcoming their daily challenges...I said I can do this. :-x

I got up out of the wheelchair and threw away the walking cane (mentally) and went seeking for a Naturopath and spent four hours learning more about myself than all my 58 years of thinking that "I can do it myself attitude."

May this video express some of my feelings at that point how I feel about walking...:-x

Feed the Intruders...or are they...they could be growing pains that we need.

Who are some of the intruders? ?:|

We might have entertained them occasionally...you think? ;\

Discord can be regulated with LOVE (You don’t have to live with discord.)

Fear can be overcome by HOPE (Fear shows up sometimes.)

Discontentment needs to nibble on PEACE (We can actually grow out of discontentment.)

Boredom can be fueled with CREATIVE PASSION (A new Beginning from boredom...)

Sadness can introduce you to JOY (It’s good to be able to cry...just don’t stay sad too long.)

Feed Them!!! ..and see the changes.

...and then give thanks for the changes. :-x

Genuine diamonds and pearls represent endurance and longevity, so all we have to do in this inspirational community is to continue to trust the process of staying focus and committed to our goals.

:) We are probably already in the knowledge of the requirements to produce a precious diamond, and the rarity of discovering a pearl in a oyster...

“An entrepreneurial Spirit will no longer hold on to a reward if it results in loss of freedom and vitality. Once this willingness to let go is realized, the entrepreneurial spirited man or woman doesn’t keep looking backward at what they have just relinquished. They go forward, take action, move consistently, and remain true to the essence of entrepreneurship today, which means being an agent of change. The change is always toward purposeful and passionate living” ~ Ellie Drake

My BraveHeart Sisters...You deserve a Happy New Year...and beyond... :-x

In my neighborhood, you will probably find more Baby Boomers on the walking trails, because younger people are becoming more conscious of financial distress due to the economic issues. The older adults are more conscious of health issues, because they are approaching the common degenerated process of aging. :O

No I did not say that I was on the trail...my excuse is it's not warm enough. ..and I am not getting older...just more matured. :^O

This article has eliminated my excuses.

EDWARD PAYSON WESTON WALKS ACROSS AMERICA - AT AGE 71

Perhaps the greatest pure walker of all time, Edward Payson Weston, started his walking career with a 453-mile trek from Boston to Washington D.C. in 1861. This walk took Weston 10 days and 10 hours. The 10 hours was significant because it caused Weston to lose a $10,000 bet for not arriving on time for Abraham Lincoln's inauguration.

Weston was known to walk as many as 125 miles in a single day, and upwards of 550 miles in six-day events.

When the media questioned his ability as a senior to continue walking, Weston showed America that walking was for all ages as he confidently trekked from Los Angeles to New York, 3600+ miles, in 88 days, averaging 41 miles per day - at age 71!

Weston continued walking 25 miles a day well into his 80's. He died at age 90, two years after being struck by a New York City taxicab, which caused him to lose the use of his legs.

By the way, when Weston was born in 1839, the average life expectancy in America was 40 years. http://www.goyaasma.com/testimonials.html

I guess I can take a few extra steps everyday...;)
