The fear to speak or hear the truth is often one of the biggest stumbling block we face in our desire to experience genuine, honest and loving relationships. When we choose to hold something back... that something separates us from the other person.

If we are not open to hearing the words of others..
without reacting or taking them personally, we create distance between us.

It's often eaiser to tell people what they want to hear.
To agree with someone with words
even if our heart feels differently.

When we confront our own painful truths about ourself Are our ears and hearts open to the words of our family and friends? Or do we choose not to hear, either because we are afraid or the words are too painful?

Wise words in this matter may include the following: When you need to tell the truth,
have the courage to open your heart as well as your mouth when the words are released to another.
When you need to hear the truth, have the strength to open your ears and keep silent your mouth.

"At the very core of your Being..
Flow continues to assist you in becoming more!"- The Flow Messengers

When we speak and hear the truth, our Light has no choice but to shine brighter!

As I feel more safe and secure within myself,
my relationships become more safe and secure.
As I trust myself and the choices I make,
my connections become more trustworthy.
The more faithful I am to myself,
the more my world reflects that fidelity.
As I honor myself,
my interactions in the world become honorable.
And I realize that the universe is an honorable place,
Of which I belong.

This is a beautiful piece of intuitive wisdom.

"The stunning revelation of connecting to who we are on the inside; how we feel, what we see when we pay attention to our inner world. How this discovery has a direct effect on our experience of our outer world. Living in both worlds with consciousness, is how we recognize the Flow in our life. Once you recognize Flow, you turn a switch on inside your world that now allows you to influence and increase your Flow. You have now become so much more, and the container of who you used to be is not large enough to hold you any longer."- The Flow Messengers

The Power Of One
One song can spark a moment,
One flower can wake the dream.
One tree can start a forest,
One bird can herald spring.

One smile begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal.

One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room.
One candle wipes out darkness,
One laugh will conquer gloom.

One step must start each journey,
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.

One voice can speak with wisdom,
One heart can know what's true.
One life can make the difference,
You see, IT'S UP TO YOU!

If you look in to a mirror and see your reflection...if your reflection's face is frowning, you don't go over to the mirror and try to make the reflection smile. You know the only way to get your reflection to smile is for you to decide to smile first. If you want to see the world from a different perspective- YOU are what is required to change.

How long before we can see the world from a different perspective with a collective consciousness?

"We are collectively ALL a part of Flow, intertwined and connected to each other no matter the distance. We all move and although the shores may offer different views we have a collective purpose. Imagine what will happen when we all move together..." The Flow Messengers

What a beautiful sunny day! Ever notice the sun shines on everything. It doesn't discriminate. It contributes to all living things, the planets and the cosmos continually and consistently. With this kind of contribution, all life gets to choose what it can receive...to flourish or perish, to be warmed or burned or to step out of the light. The choice is always ours. If “All That Is” is making the same contribution to you, what would you be willing to receive? What is possible as you are supported by all the stars in the universe as well as every atomic particle that exists?

“Flow provides us with everything we require, It only requires us to move. The choice of how we choose to move and with whom is ours”- The Flow Messengers

"Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you aren't"- Margaret Thatcher

“No matter how powerful you think you are: power only begins with a thought…it is then followed by action which is fueled by desire, passion and purpose and another thought and more fuel. Thoughts may continue to arrive, they however are only markers to measure your distance traveled along the way. It is the feeling that creates the desire, passion and purpose that allows the action. Next time you are pondering whether you are strong enough or powerful enough to accomplish something, check in with your feelings, adjust as necessary, knowing that the feelings are what creates the fuel for the action to occur, moving you forward for the thought to evaluate your progress and eventual accomplishment that may then be expressed in words if you so choose.”- Julie O’Gara

“Flow has no limits. It includes all thoughts, actions and feelings. It is your choice and sequence of choices that determines your individual journey. What are you choosing today?”- The Flow Messengers

What are you moving towards? Right now, in this moment, how would your life change if every one of your goals were realized? How would this affect you? Your loved ones? The World?

Sometimes, a shift in perspective, allows us a new space to touch the sense of meaning we require in our lives. Maybe, a little re-drafting of your goals to make them more positive or in alignment with new dreams that are a truer reflection of who you are and the values you hold nearest to your heart may be in order.

Your goals can anchor you in your life and help you find meaning. Often times your goals represent the individual you wish to become. When you create goals that are nurturing or beneficial to others as well as yourself, you extend your essence into everyone that is touched through your accomplishments. The Universe conspires on your behalf, the results of you achieving your goals has such far reaching effects and the ability to shift so many.

When designing goals, professional glory or financial success although rather evident and immediately in front of your view; are somewhat limited. When you incorporate others and a higher sense of purpose into your dreams, the vibration increases, and your goals are more visible to the higher realms. They are not shrouded in the individual energy, they are awash in a global light that shines collectively much brighter and signals to the Universe how strong your intentions are.
Consider significance when crafting your goals, your success then echoes deeply across all the levels of you, and directly touches the soul of your being.

So, gently, once again…what are you moving towards?

“Flow only has one rule-to move. Speed and direction are variables that we choose, consciously or not. Our alignment with our purpose and goals that support that purpose are course corrections. Knowing that you must move, what are you choosing to move towards?”- The Flow Messengers

Affirmation: In Every Step of Every Day, I Choose my Course. I know where I am going!

Design Your Life.jpg

Imagine for a moment that you are a young child and you are beginning a project. You have everything you can imagine to work with; crayons, markers, scissors, glue, pom poms, the stick on eyes that move, clay, dried up grass, popsicle sticks, wood blocks, glass beads, shells and you list goes on and on.

With so many choices, sometimes we forget that prior to creation, there is a feeling, and then a thought. Following the next feeling, another thought. As the thoughts and feelings come together we create. The "stuff" to build with is not how we create, we create with our imagination- inside- long before we experience the creation on the outside. Sometimes we move the creation from the inside to the outside and we continue our creation there as we try different things. This is where we are designing our life...on the outside, after we have created it on the inside.

As you look at your life...you may decide you want to create something different. You know the feeling that even though this is what you want to do- you don't automatically have a next thought on what you are suppose to do to have a different life? This is because you are attempting to design your life without creating it first. Then the only thing that changes is the outside, because the changes made on the outside only affect the outside. If you want real change you must go inside and create it first. Creating from the inside, automatically provides the opportunity to change the inside and the outside at the same time. So when you decide to design your life, the life you want and deserve- remember to create first!

"Flow has a divine order. While its direction may change, even reversing itself on occasion. The order is always divine and perfect. Sometimes our perspective is what requires the adjustment for understanding to occur"- The Flow Messengers

"View change as the one constant in your life. Welcome it. Expect it. Anticipate it."- Denis Waitley

Growing up, being aware of change was experienced one of two ways. The first, was pretty much from a position of unintentional non-awareness, as each day moved into another, there may have been gradual change, usually so subtle you didn't even notice that something was different. That was until you reached back in your memory banks to compare it to how something used to be before. The second way, typically involved a significant or drastic change that occurred in a very short space of time, with equally extreme consequences. So growing up, I learned to either not notice change, or to be flipped out and have my world turned upside down because of it.

Fast forward... adulthood. My two models of change hadn't changed much, until I started to watch other people and listen to other people's stories and realized that there might be a third or even a fourth alternative way to handle change. When growing up, I didn't have parents who had an alternative way to view and or handle change, therefore I learned what they knew (inherited belief by history).

As I have explored, usually consciously and with awareness to find a "different way" to experience change, quotes like the above one by Denis Waitley entered my life. Suddenly it was possible to view change as something that would always happen. Although I didn't require control of the change, it was suddenly empowering to know that I could acknowledge it, welcome it, expect it, anticpate it and even plan for it. Wow- I had stepped into a whole new world and perspective. Realizing that my childhood beliefs had really taught me to fear change, to feel I was subject to its whim and there was nothing I could do about it. I felt powerless and afraid of change.

Isn't it interesting how when we allow another's words, to move us ever so slightly, our entire experience of life may shift. This is what happened to me.

Every once in a while, I forget what I now know and get caught up in my childhood belief of feeling helpless and powerless. Through quotes like these, I am quickly reminded that my choice of how I handle change is also allowed to change...

"Remind yourself, that you define who you are every day- some days it will be very clear, others not so much. Within each day... remember you hold the power to change any of it."- Julie O'Gara

"Flow reminds us, we can travel in any direction we choose. However, when we attempt to return where we used to be, it requires an extraordianry amount of effort, not only to get there, but also to remain. If we are meant to return to a vision of the past, Flow will take us there by moving us forward, not backwards."- The Flow Messengers

"Be at least as interested in what goes on inside you as what happens outside. If you get it right, the outside will fall into place."- Eckhardt Tolle

When we share in another's thoughts- it creates a space between the words for us to shift into a new place, a new perspective and our life is changed in an extraordinary way.

In reading the above quote combined with the photo shared by Karen Yarbourough- it really stopped me, almost whiplash... many of the teachings and words that I had heard throughout my life came crashing back in to this one time in place, all in the same space! Isn't it interesting how you can hear something many times, and each time it's meaning is a little different, and then one day you hear something that is familiar and you suddenly have an epiphany or deep new understanding.

How is it the same words trigger such a minimal response in one moment and in another moment they change our life so profoundly we are never ever the same?

I believe it has to do not with the words, but with us...each one of us, we are what has changed. We are who has moved to another place to receive a powerful message. In the everyday occurrences of our life we observe, we make choices and we learn...sometimes quickly and sometimes we spend a lot of time on a certain subject or person. Either way, we are moving each day, we are becoming more each day...

The above quote was a powerful set of words for me today, as I realized how much I have moved, without even realizing it, just by living my life everyday. The above quote and the feeling it inspired in me, "What could I do and Where would I be...if I spent some conscious on-purpose time paying as much attention to the inside occurrences and feelings as I give attention to the outside occurrences?

How about you? What do you think?

"Flow will always move us, regardless of our attention or focus...imagine what happens when we choose to focus and give it our undivided attention..."- The Flow Messengers

Why are you trying so hard to fit in, when you were born to stand out?"- Ian Wallace

This was a really powerful reminder for me recently. I have spent a lot of my life sharing pieces of myself with all the different people I have encountered. Thinking that if I only share this part of myself with this person, because that's what they like and then they will like me too. And so it went, each new person got this part or that part, some more than others.

In my mind (notice I said mind and not heart) I used to believe that if I only shared parts of myself; it was safer for me and it was not so overwhelming for everyone else. I believed my business contacts and associates only needed to know the business side of me, my friends new the fun, loyal, spontaneous caring side of me, etc.

I had been very selective in who got to see and know all the parts of me. While I understand that no one know every part all of us, or know ourselves better than we do...it was now becoming a question? Why was I holding back and not sharing ALL of me, with everyone?

Through some soul searching, the answer I arrived at...was that I had conditioned myself only to give as much as what I perceived others could either handle or wanted to know so they would like me. Suddenly I realized that I was trusting other people's opinion of me, more than I was trusting myself. How did that happen? Through careful examination, honesty and transparency I realized that I had taught each person I met and interacted with to only allow me to be part of me. Now, why would I have done that? The deeper truth was that I had not trusted myself enough to play 100% and be 100% of who I am. Bringing all my gifts and my voice to a world that needs each and everyone of us!

So until very recently, I experienced a block in allowing myself to show up 100% of the time in all areas of my life, with everyone who touches my life. This does not mean that I need for everyone I know or met to know everything about me, it does mean that with each person I know and meet from this day forward will be granted access to 100% of me. Do I anticipate that there may be some resistance to this lifestyle change, maybe, even probably...however I am not hear to hide anymore. I am stepping into my Magnificence and no longer going to dim my light. (Even when it gets scary). If you have been touched by this message and are called to step into your Magnificence, I invite you to join me as we shine our lights together for ALL the world to see.

What are you carrying along with you that is keeping you from flying free?

Perhaps the road you have been traveling has been a rough one, filled with challenges and obstacles that continually get in your way. Maybe you have felt completely alone and suffered a great deal?

Each moment of each day- is an opportunity to choose something different- I love Wayne Dyer's quote, "The wake does not drive the boat". Unless of course you allow it to. Your direction and attitude about where you are going next is always your choice, even though sometimes we feel weighted down and that we have no choice.

So in this moment NOW, decide if you wish to carry your past and its burdens with you or cut the rope and see the truth of where you are in this moment, and allow yourself to be free.

This does not mean that you let go of your responsibility, it does however mean that you draw a line in the sand of your life and decide to start anew wherever you are...

When you have a decision to make, look at each choice and ask yourself, "Which feels lighter?" We are intuitively guided to choose the most correct answer.

"Remember whether you are in Flow or not, you will never give yourself the wrong answer. Your choice of which answer however is often determined by how clear the water is."- The Flow Messengers

Deep gratitude to my friend Sherryl Frauenglass for the inspiration of today's message.

Do you find yourself worrying about hypothetical situations that have not and in all likelihood will not occur? When we focus on the negative circumstances and outcomes we create an environment where we can easily attract the very thing that we are attempting to avoid.

The alignment with worry and lower vibrational energies also has the ability to repel the very outcomes we desire. So how do we rein in the worry and anxiety? Begin by reminding yourself that no one knows the full future, what it will bring and then revisit your situation.

This time instead of focusing on the elements out of your control, focus your attention on what you can do right now. Rather quickly when we focus on action, and things that we have control over we shift back into a space where we see our future is destined to be filled with amazing things.

When we set worries to the side, in favor of a more realistic outcome, we free up mental and emmotional energy that can be used to see and develop solutions to the challenges we all mustface. We shed light on a previously unlit path, hidden by our worries, that now offers solutions, which is truly what we were seeking all along.

When my children were little, there was a book the absolutley loved called StarBright Meditations by Maureen Garth. This book is a collection of guided meditations (that I read to them each night before they went to bed). The beginning of each meditation had the children imagine themselves entering a beautiful garden, where all their adventures began. Prior to entering the garden, just outside the gate was the "Worry Tree". It was a very large, strong, beautiful tree. It's job was to "hold" any worries, mishaps, misunderstandings, harsh words, any thing that you were concerned about. Each worry or concern is pinned up or palced on the branches of the Worry Tree. The Worry Tree will hold onto any of these and keep them safe and if you decide to release them, the Worry Tree will take care of releasing them as well.

So..maybe you find a picture or photo of a tree (lots to choose from on google images) . Place it next to your bed perhaps in a nice frame...each night before you go to sleep...give your worries to Your Worry Tree, to look after and lighten your load.

Even better, place a simple photo of Your Worry Tree, to look at often in the palces you frequently occupy and each time you see the photo, remind yourself that the "Worry Tree" is waiting to be of service to you.

"Anxiety and Worry are Boulders in the Flow- a place to hold on to and hide or a potential to cause great damage, until we let go"- The Flow Messsengers
