I immigrated to New Zealand in 2001 and once my family was settled I decided to publish my autobiography. When I wrote my first book in April 2004, I decided to self publish the book; I wanted to raise money to support Aids orphans in my immediate family back home in Zimbabwe. The book is called Born on the continent - Ubuntu and can be purchased on Amazon.

Living in a new country and not having many contacts and friends I had to be create about how I could sell my books. So I started by looking for free speaking opportunities through social groups such as Rotary International and Lions clubs to name a the most well know groups. Before I knew it I was being offered speaking opportunities all over the country and in the last seven years I have printed and sold well over 10 000 copies.

These speaking opportunities generated a lot of book sales and for the past 7 years I have been able to send money to Zimbabwe to pay for food, clothing, medication and school fees for the 49 Aids orphans in my immediate family as well as to support a small primary school with 360 children in my home village.

So my motivation to speak was really to promote my book, little did I know that it would create an international speaking career.

Hello!

Over the past 7 years I have successfully launched my speaking career and a lot of people have asked me for help and advise in order to launch their own speaking careers so I decided to write a book called "Speaking from the Heart" in order to inspire other speakers to learn how to launch and deliver powerful presentations to get their message out.

So if you are an author, a poet, a speaker or want to be any of the these please participate and give me your feedback to my blog posts.

Love and light
