We don`t talk enough about the importance of branding yourself.
It is crucial.This is how you will be known,
this is how people will remember you.
It is imperative that you have to spend some time here.

Did you research your Keywords as I explain in my last post:?
How Do You Find The Right Name For Your Website?
Did you brainstorm and decide on the best one to focus on?
Well I hope you did, and if you didn`t yet, get to it as soon as possible.

Your domain name is part of your foundation. That`s what will attract people to your site. It has to contain or refer to the keywords people are typing in when they search for something online.

It has to be compelling, something people will remember easily. Let `s take for example: Speed Reading. You should not have something like:speed-reading-for -you.com. For one thing, it is very boring and not very original. Besides, the hyphens are not recommended anymore. The search engines will see that as some way to inject keywords, and they don`t like it.
I hope you see by now, the importance branding yourself can have on your success.

Here is my little secret for branding yourself: Use your name.
It is important that your visitors remember what your site is all about by your name..If you are lucky and have a short name like: John or Ann, I would call your site: John`s Speed Reading or Ann`s Speed Reading.
This is the definition of branding. People will associate your name with your site. You will become the expert in that field and your name will be recognized as such. They will search for Speed Reading and they also will see your name associated to it.

Internet Marketing is all about building relationship with the subscribers on your list. That creates trust and credibility. And don`t forget, people buy things form people they know and trust. Using your name is a very good idea
If for some reasons,you don`t want your personal name all over the Web, then use a pen name. A lot of authors are doing it, so why not you. It will still be something personal to you, your branding, a website name nobody else will have.

When people land on your page, it is like walking into somebody`s home:
1) Is it comfortable?
2) Is the site easy to navigate?
3) Is your objective of the site clear to the reader?
4) Do you have a picture of yourself?
5) Do you have an "about me" page?

These steps are important.You would be surprised to know how many people will actually go and have a look at the site "about us" page.
It gives them a feeling about the person, his or her experience,and if they can be trusted.

Don`t forget ,"You have only one chance to make a good first impression".
Don`t spoil it with a domain name that doesn`t fit, that is not appealing.

Use your best keyword and your name,you have it made.This is what branding is all about.

Now that you found your passion or interest, do you know how to find the right name for your Website?
At this point, you need to " brainstorm " a little.
You will need to find the right keywords so that when people are looking for your product they find your Website.

This is a very important step and it can save you a lot of time and efforts. Only after completing it,will you be ready to work on your Website.

In order to find the right name for your Website,you will have to follow the next steps:
1)You type in your main keyword.
(The idea is to get as many keywords as possible and research all of them)

2)Research the first few pages that comes up on Google:
Look for the search listing and the sponsored links listings.
You then start making your search.
You go on those sites and see what people are doing in that area.You study their site and see what they look like and decide what you like or dislike in them

3)Get the best ideas from every one of them and make them better.
For example, let`s say that under "Palm Reading" I see Numerology, a free palm reading offer or an other one talking about;" Know your personality".

Obviously, they probably figured out that people have an interest in"Palm Reading", have also an interest in personality assessments.
And they may have an affiliate program that will fit right into your interest and passion.

4)You can then decide if there is too much competition or too little.
If there is a lot of advertisers in a particular market, then I would think twice before getting into it, specially if you are new to Affiliate marketing.
There could be too much competition.

But if you find one with eight to twenty advertisers,I would go for it. This is basically the process you should follow to get the right name for your Website.

Once you have the right name, it will be easier for you start working on building your Website.

I have written many posts so far, and one thing I realized is: all the articles related to making money from home, were the one that were the most viewed.
I thought learning "how to" was one of the most important step, and that`s why I have been given a lot of advices. But maybe I am mistaking. I can tell from my postings here and in the comments I get on my Blog: people are just looking for a way to make money, and to make money "Now"

In a previous post I talked about all the tools you need to become a great Internet marketer. Now, we will dig a little deeper
on the best affiliate marketing strategies to use.

Once you have decided on your affiliate program or product,
you need to set up your first affiliate campaign.
To do this effectively,you should have a website or a blog,
along with a way of building your own marketing list.
In other words, if you send the customers to the merchant page,
they will make a sale and so will you. But there is one thing they will have and you won`t: your leads.

Affiliate programs can shut down for which ever reasons.If that happens,you will be left with no list. And a list is very important,otherwise you will have to start from scratch.

The best first marketing strategy is to capture people`s name and e-mail addresses. You will then have a mailing list.
With a mailing list you can effectively mail your list with new offers.They won’t even know or care that you have switched programs.

1-Tell people about your website and your free report.There are several ways you can do this.
2-Write informative articles about the product you are promoting -Submit them to article directories.

4-Share your new blog posts on Facebook, Google + and Twitter.
(Other great sites are Stumble Upon, Digg and Reddit.)
5-Use a social sharing site called Social Monkee which posts your blog posts to 25 sites for free.

Remember that it takes time for people to find your site so don’t get discouraged,if you don’t make sales immediately. Just keep on adding new information to your site and bookmark it consistently. Your traffic will start to improve and sales will start to happen.

Who hasn`t thought about working from home at one point in their life? And I am one of those .
It isn`t just the idea of not having to face the traffic morning and night, or having a Boss who is demanding or wanting to stay home with the children.For me it is more than that.

I believe that we have a path in front of us, from the moment we are born. We only need to know when we should take the right turn.

There are situations,it could be family related or others, were we are somehow push into making some decisions about our future. These are not necessarily the ones we would have wanted to make in the first place. But it happened that way.

I can rely to that because this has happened to me in the past. I would have love to be my own Boss and I would have loved to work from home, have the freedom to choose how to live my life.

But I became a nurse,without really wanting to go into that profession. I did it for family reasons. Over the years, I learned to love what I was doing. I knew that I was good at my work and appreciated from my patients.
But I always had that feeling that I could have done something else with my life. I had the feeling that I could become someone who could influence the life of others.

Although I tried a few times to re-orient my Career, there were again some obligations that held me back. But I know now that it doesn`t matter from which back ground you come from, from which country you live in, it doesn`t matter which level of education you reached, if you want to live the life you have always wanted, it is never too late to make the changes.

There are a lot of people out there,I think specially about the younger generation,who seemed to see their life going by . They are in a spiral that doesn`t seem to stop. It is work, commuting to the job, the return with the family obligations, and life seems to go by without them having time to Live.
Thinking about working from home seems to be the thing to do.

There are also the baby boomers,and I am one of them, who maybe didn`t fulfilled their dream, who didn`t reach their potential,who would have love to work from home, be their own Boss.
They are the one who would have love the freedom that working from home can give. And there are those who may be in a situation today where an additional income would be very welcome.

Our path is there. Sometimes we have to take risks and scare ourselves with the decisions we are making. But most of all we have to do it, take action, make the changes we desire more than anything else.
I do believe that the Internet is the future.
I barely knew anything about it a few years back. But I am a very determined person, and I decided one day, that I would do something with my life, and work from home with the Internet, was what came to my mind.
And I learned, took numerous trainings, some good ,some not so good, but I did it. I took the" bull by the horns" and took control over my life.

I must say that I encountered many falls and was very discouraged at times. I did what a lot of people have done before me and will do after me, I tried so many programs that were promising me to make a lot of money, (I can`t remember how many). I followed all the steps,but nothing promised happened.

So don`t fall for that. Even if your desire to be working from home is overwhelming, get the right training, and most of all follow the right person. This is one of the best advice I can give you, have a good mentor. That will save you a lot of time, and get you where you want to be, way faster.
I would want to encourage anyone who thinks that becoming their own Boss, that working from home is impossible. Please, don`t think the opposite.

There is a lot of money to be made on Internet, when you know how.
It isn`t an easy path,you will have to work. But once you will be on your way, you won`t need to put in so many hours. And the rewards will be there.

And this is a part of what I want to leave behind. I want to help others to live the life they have always pictured in their mind.To have the life they deserve to have. We are not on this earth, to be unhappy. We deserve to be happy.

I have a vision in my head, I have a desire that is so intense, that there is no way I will not reach it. I have an outstanding opportunity to promote, and a few other things going on.
And I have an even bigger plan, which I will talk about in the future.

We are the only one stopping ourselves.

1)Monetize your Blog
Now that you have your blog set up, you want to start earning revenue from it. You have lots of options which will generate an income for you. You need to learn how to monetize your blog effectively using your affiliate products

If you are considering getting into Affiliate Marketing,
you are probably asking yourself: can I really

Internet marketing versus Affiliate marketing?

I started thinking about it yesterday and although I have been talking about Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing, I think it would be worth it to explain a little what is involved being in one versus the other.

So today I will explain Internet Marketing versus Affiliate Marketing.
1) What is Internet Marketing
Internet marketing is a very useful tool to reach people.That`s where you offer the products or services you want to sell. It can be products you created yourself, a MLM company or a service you are offering.
In other words, you are doing your marketing online.

To achieve that, you have to be found on the Internet among millions other sites .
So, you have to come up as one of the first websites listed in the search results on Google, Yahoo and all the other ones.
Your website has to be attractive, interesting, full of useful content that would help people find answers to solve their problems.In order to achieve that, your site has to be unique,professional looking, helpful,and contain lots of you information.

The starting point in the Internet Marketing, is to have the right keyword. I explained it in an earlier post:

Then you have to drive traffic to your website .
Here are 3 ways to do it:
1)Paid methods such as pay per click, banner advertising and other paid online strategies.
2)Social media has become an integral part of success (networking websites such as:Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
3)Free traffic ways are very popular amongst internet marketing beginners such as; video and article marketing

For someone who have never done marketing online, I strongly recommend to have a good training. I mentioned one that has helped me a lot in the past. You can also find a mentor,someone who will be following you step by step. Which ever way you choose,be consistent with it. Don`t jump from program to program.You need to stay focused

2)Now what is Affiliate marketing?
To keep it simple, it is a fancy way of saying: commission sales. Basically, you sell a product online and earn a percentage of the sale.
This can be done 2 ways:
1) You can send traffic directly to the merchant site (sometimes, some merchant refuses that method)
2) You send it through your own website. This is a much better approach.

I personally think that it is essential that you send traffic to your Website first. This way, if the person doesn`t buy, they will still have the opportunity to sign up for your news letter or for a free gift .
Then, they will be on your list and you will be able to stay in touch with them whenever you have an other related product .

I also recommend to have a site related to one subject only. It is not very professional to advertise all your products on the same website, it will look like you are to cheap to invest in your business.
It is not very expensive to buy a domain and set up either a blog or a website.

I believe the following tips can be very useful for anyone wanting to become an Affiliate Marketer.
You will find resources to help you set up:
-your Domain,
-your Hosting
-and your Blog

As you probably know by now, in order to be able to promote a product, you will need some marketing tools.
It is already a process in itself to choose the right product, next you have to drive some traffic to it. There are some steps to follow.
This is how affiliate marketing should basically work.

Once you have chosen a product to promote, you will receive an affiliate link. Next you should be given access to the promotional material related to the product.
This generally includes Banners, graphics, e-mails or sample ads etc.

Some affiliate program will have a lot of resources available to help you. That`s a good sign, it means, they want to see you succeed.
Although this material can be very useful, don`t forget that hundreds of other affiliates will be using the same. You have to be a little creative if you want to stand out from the crowd.

You need more affiliate marketing tools than the one just described (Banners, graphics etc)
You will also need as I mentioned earlier:
-a blog,
-a domain name,
-a hosting company

I strongly believe that the best way to achieve success is to set up your own Blog. This is probably the most important marketing tool you will need.
Having a blog is like having a piece of Real Estate. It is yours, and there to be seen.
There are a few blogging platforms for you to choose from. The most popular are WordPress and Blogger.I personally like WordPress,and so apparently does Google.

Starting a blog is not too complicated, you have to create an account and follow the instructions. I would strongly suggest you to have a paid blogging platform. It is fairly inexpensive and really worth it.
You will also need to purchase a Domain name and get a Hosting.

Once you have created your domain name and set up a hosting account, you will then need to point your domain to your new hosting account.
Depending on where you purchased your domain you will be asked to do this either during the checkout process or you will need to go back in and do it manually, once your purchase is completed.
You will click on manage domains and then transfer DNS, here you will enter the domain name servers from your hosting account. Normally,it looks something like this: ns5252.hostname.com.
This can take a few minutes to switch or up to 24 hours sometimes, depending on the company.

Your next task will be to go into your hosting account and add your domain name. This is fairly straightforward to do, just follow the instructions as you go. Once you have this done you will want to install Wordpress on your domain.

To do this you need to log in to your C-panel and find the Fantastico icon this will take you through the Wordpress installation.
Don`t forget to get your site and password in your bookmarks, not to loose your info.
Once this is done, log in, and you will be in your dashboard. From here, you can choose your theme and start posting.You have just created your first Wordpress Blog.

If you fell comfortable doing it on your own, that`s fine. But for those of you who might feel a little overwhelmed with the whole set up, I personally followed a training which has literally taken me by the hand.
I was able to set up my blog, get it "connected" to my hosting server, choose my themes and get all the plugging I needed.

Here are the 3 ways to make money with Keywords.
It is strange to say it now, but after all the time I have spent learning about Internet marketing, I just understood for the first time how important keywords can be.

I guess I didn`t think that we could make money with
Keywords, but actually it is one of the most important step to start out with.
If you want to capitalize on all the free traffic Google can drive to your online business, you have to follow the next 3 steps:

1)Choose a targeted keyword
Being found on the Internet, won`t come just with a beautiful article you wrote. The secret is to have a strategy that will help you create content that people are searching for. That`s the point I recently understood.
You just can`t take a keyword and write an article about it. You have to research the Right One.The one that will make you money.

For example if your niche is Health, you won`t choose the word health in your title or in your content. This is too generic and too many people are using it. What you will have to do is find a sub-niche. One that isn`t so hot, one that doesn`t have too much competition,but can bring you some traffic.
You will have to take a few minutes do your research. Concentrate on words people are typing in Google when they want to know about a health problem they have. Look for long tail keywords such as: how to improve my arthritis etc. Choose terms that have at least 1,000 search a month.

There are 2 ways to make that search.
a)You can use a free tool such as Google keyword tool, where you will get a few hundred searches.
b)You can use a more advanced keyword tool called: Market Samurai. This software is the keyword 101 tool, and once you will have gone through their training, you will be a keyword dominating expert!

2) Write a blog
A blog is a good way to brand yourself. Your blog should have a compelling headline and you have to make sure that your main keyword is part of it. It is important that you have a good knowledge on the subject and also the subject should be something you are passionate about. Your content will then be more meaningful it also should provide some answer or a solution to the customer who reads it.

If you are not an expert in writing or if you have no inspiration, I found a great source that provides high quality content at a very affordable price. You will find there almost everything you need from blogs, articles, auto-responder follow up and even Power Point presentation.

3) Article submission to Article Directories
Now that you went through the process of finding the right keyword that will make money),and now that you wrote something of value about it. It has to be sent somewhere. The more places in will appear, the more likely it will be found. There is a lot of article directories you can send your article to.
The most popular are ;
Ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, articledashboardcom.
There are many more that you can find by searching on Google.

Ever wonder if Internet marketing was for everyone?
Maybe some people will never make it, are you in that category?

There are days, like yesterday, when I started to think about what I have been doing in the last few months.
Although I have been working very hard, I don`t seem to get the results I would like to see.
Am I too anxious, too much in a hurry? Is Internet marketing really for me? Is Internet marketing for everyone?

I don`t know the answer, but all I know, I was depressed. I have been looking at my work, the Webinar I am supposed to look at, the new program I intend to start for Internet marketing beginner, and I wasn`t able to do any thing.
All of a sudden,I stopped, took a deep breath and started thinking.
What is really going on? What am I missing? What could I do to turn that around?

And again, one main reason came up to my mind: I have lost my Focus, again....
I have talked about it in previous post, and we hear about it all the time. But are we consistent with it ? The answer is very often:NO.

I lost my focus again:
-What do I want to really accomplish, I asked myself?
-Am I going in the right direction?
-Which steps should I take to finally have the success I want and deserve?
-Is Internet marketing for me? Is it really?

I think I can be successful and I believe in hard work. So, I told myself to take a break for the day, and clear my mind and wait until tomorrow and start again, focused this time.

That made me feel a little better and I must admit, I am in better spirits this morning. So I decided to focus on my Travel Company and forget about the rest for now. I will start to advertise and promote it as much as I can, using all the medias I have talked about and see what will happen in a month.

There is a lot of money to be made with GRN and I intend to promote and find affiliates to join me.

These are the 5 steps you must follow to find the best niche for your blog:

Step 1) Follow your passions!
Take out a sheet of paper and make a list of things, topics and activities that you are passionate about. In the end, you’ll produce better web content when you’re writing about something that you enjoy doing (your results will be directly related to this).
Plus, when you follow this strategy, writing is fun and it doesn’t really feel like work.
Don’t rush it, write down at least 20 items in the list. If you’re having trouble, ask your friends or family for help… they might come up with a few ideas that you had not thought about.

Step 2) Narrow down the list.
Once you have a list of 20 topics that you could potentially be blogging about, it’s time to narrow it down by truthfully answering these questions to yourself:
a)Would you be happy if working on this was your daily job?
b)Do you have any particular skills or knowledge in that field?
c)How many people do you know that share this interest with you?
d)Would you like to talk to these people (or similar ones) every day?
e) How passionate are they about this particular topic?
f) Would you mind working with these people in an office?
If you are brutally honest, your list should now be 5 items long or less. If it’s not, simply select your favorite 5 topics and run with those.

Step 3) Research the traffic potential of the niche.
The amount of traffic that your blog will receive will be directly related to the number of people who are searching for this topic (and a few related ones), so it makes perfect sense to know in advance the size of your target audience.
To determine the traffic potential of the niches you’re researching, come up with a list of 5-10 keywords or phrases that are directly related to each item in your list.
Once you have built a list of related keywords, figure the monthly searches for both the main niche and each of the keywords you wrote using Overture’s keyword inventory or the Free Word Tracker keyword tool.
You will want the searches to be at around 10,000 for the main keyword and a minimum of 5,000 for each of the related keywords or phrases. If the niches you selected reach or exceed the recommended traffic, congratulations… you’re well on your way to having a profitable blog.

Step 4) Research the profit potential the niche.
Now that you know which of the niches you selected have enough traffic to be worthwhile blogging about, you’ll also want to know the potential for profit in each of them exists. To do this, simply run each of the niches and keywords or key phrases in Google, Yahoo and MSN and look at the number of advertisers that come up in the PPC (pay-per-click) results.
Hit the “next page” a few times for each keyword and check how many advertisers appear in pages 2-10. The more advertisers, the more money that is being made on that niche – yes, competition is GOOD for bloggers.

Step 5) Pick your niche.
Once you’ve found a good list of topics and determined the traffic and profit potential for each of them, it’s pretty much a matter of taste. Out of the few niches that came out successful from the traffic and profit potential tests you performed on them, follow your heart and select the one you’d like to try out… By doing some research and picking one of the winning niches, you’ve tipped the balance in your favor when it comes to having a successful blog.

Term of Use and Privacy Policy is a subject that is rarely mentioned by anyone, but it is one of the most important you should have in order to protect yourself from an eventual Law Suit or from Government law Violation.
You never know how your content or your comments, could be interpreted on a Law point of view.

I heard of example as the following:
A person was blogging about her dog and the food she was feeding it.
At one point, her Blog was seen by a company who was selling Dog Food. She was contacted and was asked if she could try some of their food,for free.Of course, she said why not.

Then she kept on blogging about that new Dog food,without really knowing what the Company or the Dog food was all about. She had only been happy to get something for free. Believe it or not,she was charged for false representation, and was fined a lot of money.

The Law considered that,because she accepted the free food, she was like an indirect sale`s person and when the Dog Company was charged for misrepresentation, so was she.
This is only one example to prove you how easy you get in trouble if you don`t protect your site with a good and legal:Term of Use and Privacy Policy.

I have a Term of Use and privacy Policy on every Websites and Blogs I own and you should do the same.There are a few places you can get the forms from . Some are more expensive than others.
It doesn`t matter which company you use,the important is to have a Term of Use and Privacy Policy on your site.
You need to be protected specially if you are jut starting. You don`t want to be shut down before even starting to make money Online.

The rules are more and more severe, and you have enough to worry about. You don`t need to be worried and get involved in a law suit.
