Hello Beautiful Goddesses !

Do you remember when first decided to improve yourself and your life? I feel like I’ve been reading personal growth books since I could read!! Haha! Ah the sign of a true seeker. Well I was contemplating yesterday – why don’t more people want this for themselves? And then I thought- Jen, just do something about it. So I decided to offer a free tele-class to anyone who wanted more for themselves. Ladies this is no gimmick and no sales pitch- this is coming from a place of love and pure offering.

For many of us, it’s second nature to go to a workshop or get on a mastery call. But for some, the process is daunting and intimidating. So anything I can do to encourage and expose people to The Work and help them shift – I must do my part.

When it comes to “time” my eyes were shaped young. I lost both of my parents before I turned 30. Their departure was my awakening. I think rather than focusing on how we “manage our time” we need to shift to how we “lead” and “take in” our time. Shifting from satisfaction to true fulfilment – staying awake and making it all count!

Hello Brave Goddesses!

I have been reflecting a lot on spring, new cycles and the season of re-birth. What are you birthing? Allowing the birthing and growth process is something I have had to learn to do. For years, I was stuck in a holding pattern. My pattern was rooted in fear and scarcity. I needed to have control, I needed to know what was going to happen and to be in charge. The problem with how I was operating was that there was no room for Grace.

Not too long ago my partner and I were driving through wine country. I live in Canada. At the time, the snow covered vines were not in bloom. I was looking at the acres of bare vineyards and I realized… “They know when to bloom.” IT happens all on its own and in the right time. The intelligence is all in the vine. The same intelligence working in nature is the same intelligence working through me.

If you have a hard time with letting go of control and receiving, then this is an area we share in common. For me, to counter the ego’s hold on needing to know an outcome, I have had to develop much more spiritual trust. In trusting the gap, I am trusting the intelligence that is within me and I know that I am cooking and always growing!

Listen to the whispers and Shift Momentum

Last night I was watching an interview from “Dancing with the Stars”. I love watching how people show up and master new skills. When Kate Gosselin was asked how she was feeling with the challenge she replied, “I have a hard time concentrating and smiling at the same time.” Her dancing coach responded with “most people do.”

This is an example of how most of us stand in our own way from working with creativity, flow and ease.

What’s the difference between someone who can learn a new skill, prepare, have readiness and when it comes time to “do”, they can flow with ease? Many things enter the equation, however, I will offer some tips from those who are in complete mastery with this skill.

That’s why I recorded a one minute podcast to help shift momentum. I’m calling it the Shifting Momentum Moment. In my first feature I speak about shifting from mediocrity to excellence.

A client and I were discussing scarcity patterns she adopted as a child. One thing that she mentioned was "I never asked my parents for money, because I didn't know where it would come from."

Fast forward.... to how we limit our requests to the universe because we don't know where it will come from. This weekend i saw how I let go needing to know HOW THINGS will SHOW UP, and prosperity came to me in abundance through unexpected events. It started Thursday as I was boarding my plane and was seated next to the a famous music band.

Then, After checking in to the hotel, I was sniffing and the front desk staff gave me a tissue, in response to my needs... I didn't ask. Thirty minutes later a knock came at my hotel room door, I was gifted with milk and cookies and a note from the front desk staff reading "feel better".

Just those two event alone opened my eyes to what I never would I have thought for myself only a few hours ago. To top it off, Sunday night a friend and I were invited out for dinner by an amazing new aquaintance. He took us to the Santa Monica pier, we drove to Malibu (I saw Sting's house) we toured around Hollywood and saw rodeo drive. Left to my own imagination I would have imagined I would have dinner and be back in my hotel room by 7pm.

The question we need to ask ourselves is how receptive are we to the Divine Choreography? The universe has so much to offer. So the scarce pattern of not asking or expecting abundance because we don't know where it will come from must being replaced. Let's dance with the Stars!!!

Tides that Rise

Each decade of life
Brings forward the wisdom
Via beginnings and endings
And in waves of transition

Broken packages disguised
Mistaken as new
Were opportunities for healing
From the rear mirror’s view

A girl I was
Longing to be loved
With each loveless man
I felt the intimacy tug

Trust was a risk
My heart wouldn’t part
Control would set in
Before anything could start

Power felt masculine
Feminine felt weak
The struggle of a woman
I continued to seek

Forgiveness was needed
At the crossroads of choice
Stay put and suspended
Or use my loving voice

Looking back on my journey
Seeing the process unfold
Understanding my lessons
Recognizing how the future gets told

A basket is woven
One layer at a time
A journey of growth
Is the mountain I climb

In 2009, I was re-organizing from the inside out. God hit the pause button, and it forced me to halt all external projects. In studying transformation, I had no idea how much of an interior renovation I would undergo. Last year not much in my business-life changed, but my soul reached brand new heights. I would like to share one of my Sacred experiences with you.

In October, I was invited to assist Barbara De Angelis’ team at the Engage Today Conference. She was speaking with several headliners some of who included Sir Richard Branson and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. I was honoured to be Serving, yet I had no idea what I would be gifted with. In order to capture my true feelings I am copying a post I wrote shortly after the experience. I offer it to you, with one intention…

What you think will happen in life and what the Universe has in store are often different. Make space for the Magic to flow in, and receive it fully!

This afternoon I was sitting listening to a presenter and intuitively heard, "you should get up and hit the bathroom before the rush of the break."

I took the escalator downstairs and at the bottom of the stairs and was met by security. They had blocked it off and said I couldn't pass. There were only a couple of people in sight. I wondered what is happening? Then the door opened and ushered by His own security, the Dalai Lama walked right by me. I was stunned. I looked at the lady beside me in disbelief, with a look that said "can you believe what we are experiencing?"

The moment happened so fast but I felt him and his Light so deeply. In a few short moments he was gone and then a large crowd started to come down the escalator from the break.

I realized that the Universe had arranged this intimate experience and I received it. I was shaking. I came up back to our table and Jo was sitting there. I was tearing up; I needed to share what had just been offered to me.

Receiving this deeply has always been a challenge for me. I am letting this gift soak into my bones. I love you all so much and sharing this experience only deepens it.

One of my deep quests was to heal the inner turmoil of never feeling like I was enough. It was a thick web in my consciousness that affected all areas of my life. It affected how much money I felt comfortable asking for, how much love I could receive, and how I interfaced with my responsibilities.

I grew up learning that “work was hard” and I adopted a mentality of whipping myself forward, rather than loving myself forward. I was never really satisfied with my results; always looking to improve. When I heard feedback I discounted the good and focus on beating myself up with the corrective suggestions.

The process of healing unworthiness is deep and intensive. It takes awakened vigilance. I had to allow myself to connect to my early years and see what old tapes were running my life today. One situation at a time, I noticed when old wiring resurfaced, and rather than playing the tape of the story I chose to feel my discomfort.

I dropped from my head/the story, to the presence of the feelings within my heart. In the comfort and security of my own space, I let my emotions rise and express themselves. I chose go into my feelings and pop them like a balloon - removing emotions and vibrations that weren’t serving my HIGHEST. I was shocked with how much repressed emotion I had buried inside - emotions that clouded my lens and affected my vibration within the world.

In my opinion the deeper we go within to heal and excavate, the higher we climb in the external world.

In the beginning I had all the famous excuses for not doing the deep work.. “I have worked on myself in the past, I don’t have the time. I’ve read a book about it… ya-da
ya-da..

Truth is we have far more joy to unearth than the limited ego will allow us to believe.
GO DEEP, FLY HIGH!!!!

Wise Goddess with divine ancient eyes,
See your magnificence reflected in the skies.

Across the desert, you traveled on a mission,
Discovered your voice and healed through your admissions.

Here today, before we stand,
I see your beauty, your knowledge of the land.

Goddess before me I ignite your fire!
Go deep inside, connect to your desire.

Mystical powers reveal yourselves today,
Allow the Divine to show up and stay.

Remove the fear, the frozen stance,
Turn up the volume, allow the Goddess to dance.

Fellow wise Beings bring forth your power,
Move forward the Goddess let her feel your energy shower.

Rain, rain, cleanse her shadows away,
Purify, heal, reveal the Great Work of this day.

Wise Goddess with Divine ancient eyes,
The forces are bestowed - it is your time to rise.

Healing is a spiritual experience. It can be an act of Grace when we surrender to it.

I fell into an early adult life full of distractions, numbing my feelings and running from my pain. (I lived in my head and it was my prison). I was hooked in to the stories of my wounds and the illusions of my ego.

During my teenage years, I resisted traditional therapy to deal with my grief and wounds of the loss of my father. I was rebellious against my own interior landscape. My ego willed me into thinking I could out run my past. The thoughts of “if I just do more, worked harder, accomplished more life would get easier and I would feel different.”

Two years ago the universe pulled my rug and halted my external world. My relationship ended along with many of the things I identified with. After the loss of my mom to cancer my soul was ready to take a new path. I understand now that my soul was seeking a deep spiritual transformation. I found my path…

For the last year I have been working with Dr. Barbara De Angelis in deep study of the process of Transformation. I had to undergo the process in order to rise up and Serve others. It is with the humility from my own journey that I seek to Serve other women. I am going to use my blog to share my journey along the way.

May you find the courage and inspiration to seek your own quest of personal Truth and transformation.

We have so much to offer the world, when we can uncover our true SELVES.
