I opened a small web design business in 2001 from a used book about HTML. When I become an Assistant HOA Manager later that year, I began producing websites for their community associations. They were small static informational sites that rarely received traffic, and were of little use to homeowners in the communities. When I left after two and a half years, I was able to retain about 20 sites for my business.
