Connect With Your Spirit
Spending time connecting with your Source should be a high priority everyday. Spending some time in prayer or meditation can help reduce stress, worry, and will also help you feel more energized through out your day. Read a spiritually up lifting book, go for a walk outside, or spend at least five minutes a day connecting with your breath. You may find you get your best ideas and receive solutions to problems during this time.

Create Your Day
Instead of worrying about tomorrow focus on creating your tomorrow. Every night before you go to bed visualize the next day. Start from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. If you know you have to go to the store visualize short check out lines, and all your favorite items are on sale. Get creative and enjoy this fun process. If visualizing is difficult for you then write it down. You may be surprised that when you practice this every day life seems to flow with greater ease. If you prefer you can also do this first thing in the morning to start your day.

Daily Accolades

Instead of beating yourself up for all the mistakes you made through out your day, try patting yourself on the back for what you did right. At the end of your day before you go to bed grab a notebook and write down at least five things you right. If you can come up with more that is even better. This exercise helps shift your energy and your thinking to a more positive place. Not only will you feel better, but I bet you sleep better too.

Problems! We all have them, and we all want to find solutions to help solve our problems. But is every problem really “bad”, or do our problems have a higher purpose? Many of the problems we face in life have come disguised as teachers. Of course, there are some times in life that we know the source of our pain. Writing a check when you know you do not have the funds in the bank is an example of a self-created problem. But what about fear? Fear is not always a self-created problem, but even if it is self-created, fear can cause big problems. Fear comes in different forms. Sometimes we are afraid of failure, or maybe we are even afraid of success. So how do you find solutions to problems that stop you in your tracks and cause worry and anxiety? The first thing to do is stop looking for solutions. When you go looking for solutions you usually come up empty handed. Instead try receiving the solution. This is not how we are taught to get answers, but it takes the pressure off of you, and puts in back where it belongs…in God’s hands. When struggle stops you in your tracks ask yourself these questions:

Do I have to have an answer now?
Do I trust in the higher plan for my life?
Am I willing to let go of this problem?

Answering these questions will allow you to see if you are ready to face the problem, or if you’re still not ready to handle it. Where ever you are is fine. You have to start where you are. Acknowledge you don’t have the answers, and then sit back and ask your soul to give you the solution. Then surrender the issue to God and see what comes to you in the next day or two. The most important part of the process is surrender, and yet it is also the hardest. Try this practice on small things at first, and then as you feel comfortable to tackle bigger issues give it a try. The real solution to problems is to not create more problems in finding a solution. So look for the soul solutions. Your spirit has the answers to your questions. All you need to do is be quiet enough amidst the chaos to hear it.

P.S. Last night I had the opportunity to put this into practice…and guess what?? All I could see was chaos. So I slept on it. Today things are lighter. Not easier just lighter. So this is still a process for me, and everyday I am given opportunities to practice “receiving the solution”. Some days I am able to simply surrender to the practice, and other days I resist this practice. I would love to hear your stories of “Receiving Solutions” they will be a source of inspiration for all of us. :)

How many times have you said, “I should have trusted my gut” or “I knew that would happen”?

Your Intuition is a powerful tool and guide when it comes to growing your business. So how can you start tapping into your inner knowing when making business decisions? Well the answer is simple – just start.

An easy place to start is tuning into your feelings.

Your feelings are a wonderful marker as to whether or not you’re headed in the right direction. On a daily basis ask yourself this question “How does this make me feel?” So often in business we are taught only to go with the facts, and to do things a certain way because that is just how its done. But if you have a gut feeling that something is amiss don’t be afraid to honor that feeling. Of course there are times when our feelings are fear based. So check in with yourself and make sure you are not letting fear get the best of you. Intuitive hits come to us all the time; it’s learning how to use them to our advantage that is difficult. We dismiss intuition so often that it will take a little practice to feel comfortable trusting it. Go slowly and start with little things. Eventually you will find yourself checking in with your intuition all the time.

Here a few examples of times you may want to check in with your intuition while making business decisions:

-Deciding if you should work with a client or vendor

-Setting your prices

-Scheduling a promotion or sale

-When to launch a new product

Remember have fun with your intuition it will never send in you the wrong direction, Trust it and enjoy success in business and life.
