A business partner shared a story with me today that I would like to pass on to you.... She said in 2007 she was sitting on a plane and a thought popped into her head: "I should call Russell Simmons so we can educate the world about finances." Now mind you, she did not know Mr. Simmons or have any way of getting in touch with him. Yet, that night, she called him anyway, and two years later she was running one of his companies. And she still runs it to this day! She was courageous enough and bold enough to make a call that not only changed the course of her life, but her family's life, Russell Simmons' life, his family's life and the lives of countless others. What thoughts have you been "sitting on" because you're afraid to make that call? Authoring a book? Becoming an actress? Opening your own restaurant or bakery shoppe? Becoming a life coach? Whatever it is, you have an opportunity to move your life in a different direction towards your hopes, passions and dreams. The question is, will you do it? Today, I'd like to challenge you to "make the call". My company has been offering coaching certification for $99.95 - that's it! And today, it's going away, forever. Starting Monday, November 1st, in order to be certified through us, you will have to pay $2600 instead of $99.95. So if you've been sitting on the fence about becoming a life coach and empowering others, or you're already coaching but just aren't certified, now is the time to stop straddling, jump off and take action! Time is of the essence. Once this price is gone, it's gone for good. Wouldn't you rather say that you picked up the phone and made that call and took action, instead of looking back wishing you had? Call me. Today. Kitara 510-402-4580 - Biz Line 510-557-0576 - Cell

The following was written and posted by Tyler Perry on his website on July 25, 2010. Enjoy! To chase down a dream! Sorry I've been MIA but we just finished the movie, For Colored Girls, and I have to tell you, I have new respect for Ntozake Shange's 1975 writings. Listening to these words spoken through the voices of Phylicia Rashad, Kerry Washington, Tessa Thompson, Macy Gray, Kimberly Elise, Thandie Newton, Whoopi Goldberg, Janet Jackson and Loretta Devine, made me not only respect the brilliance of the material, but also pull out everything in me to do my best to give it the care and attention to detail that it deserved. Out of all that I've ever done in my life, nothing has taken more out of me than this film. It is remarkable. Being so drained, I decided to take a few days off. Yesterday I was hiking a mountain in Hawaii with a friend. I was laboring up this beautiful green pastured mountain, looking down at my feet trying to be sure of my footing, while at the same time trying to catch my breath from the altitude. At times, I would make big steps, sometimes all I could do was take small ones. The terrain was uneven and rough at times. It took a lot of effort and a lot of thought so, needless to say, I was getting really tired and at times wanted to stop or just turn back. I got to one peak and I thought "I'm here, great, we can rest now" only to realize that just because I was at the top of one peak, that didn't mean I had arrived. There were more...more valleys to go through and more heights to reach. It was interesting to me, that in order to go higher, we usually had to go down through a valley, and it went on and on and up and up. I was tired and wanted to sit down but my friend said, "Come on, let's go a little higher." So, not to be outdone by a girl (lol), I dug my hiking boots in and went a little higher. We finally got to one of the highest points and she said to me, "This is the best part, now turn around." I turned around and behind me was the most amazing view that I had seen in my 40 years on this earth. As far as my eyes could see, beauty reigned. The Hawaiian Islands seemed to be leaping up out of the silver blue sea, stretching up to catch the dust of the sky. The clouds seemed close enough to catch in my hand and make a wish; rays of sunlight danced through them trying to find a path to show off their own glow and power. Not even Picasso could have out-painted the canvas that was before me. The heavens were declaring the glory of God. I saw Him in motion. I said to my friend, "When did we get this high?", and she said, "It was in the climb." I couldn't help but think about life - mine and maybe even yours. I thought about how hard it had been for me chasing down my dream. I thought about how hard it can be to believe sometimes. I thought about the entire struggle, all of the pain, all of the hope, all of the doubt. I thought about the times I was working a dead end job, trying to believe; moving through day-to-day with my head down just taking one step at a time, some small, some big ones, wanting to give up; wanting to stop and sit for a while; wanting to lay in my sorrow; nobody believing in me; nobody thinking it would come to pass and never realizing that every step was taking me closer to higher. That hike was painful, it hurt, but through it all I was getting higher and had no idea how high I was. That's what it's like to chase down a dream. Sometimes in life dreams are hard to follow, like that climb. You don't know how high you're going or even if you're moving, but every step, even when you can't see what's behind you, will take you closer to your goals. It's in the climb. I know you may be struggling right now, but you're in the climb; things may be hard right now, but you're in the climb; people may not believe in you, but it's part of the climb. They may take shots at you, but stay in the climb; you may have to stand alone, but you're in the climb. Even if you're not where you want to be right now, I want to say to you what she said to me, "This is the best part, now turn around." Look how far you've come. God has not brought you this far to leave you. Stay in the climb. So thankful for all of you. Be well. CLIMB! Tyler Perry

The truly successful person doesn't use others, other people use them. If you can contribute to others, no matter how small your talent, you too can become successful. The measure of anyone is the number of people that they serve. Service to others is the essence of success. No one achieves success without being of service. All great men and women became successful because they gave some talent or ability in the service of others. Everybody has to be somebody to somebody to be anybody. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

You need a plan to find success. Wanting success isn't sufficient enough to get it. You've got to ask yourself, "What are you going to do to get the things you want." Your problem is to bridge the gap which exists between where you are now and the goal you intend to reach. You cannot fail with a definite step by step plan, because each step you take will carry you along to the next step, like a track. All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination. You can not get lost on a straight road. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

Your dreams are your visions of where you'll be after the battle, your prize at the end of your journey to success. Your goals are the steps you take to finally attain your prize. Unless you're willing to work hard and establish some discipline in your life, all of your dreams will be pipe dreams, little mental fantasy trips that will never materialize. Make concrete steps toward fulfilling your ultimate dream, and start with solid objectives called goals. Your dreams are where you want to go, your goals are how you get there. The first indispensable step to getting the things you want out of life is this. Decide what you want. Don't be afraid to think big and dare to be great. Dreamers are not content with mediocrity. They never dream of going half way. People with goals succeed because they know where they're going. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

Without goals there is no achievement. A set definitive objective must be established if you are to accomplish anything in a big way. The first step to getting the things you want out of life is this. Decide what you want. The world will turn aside and let you pass if you know where you are going. Goals give you a starting place and a destination. Determine what you want. Decide on your major objections, targets, and destination. You can plant your own dream, with a goal. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

Everyone who got where they are had to begin where they were. Your opportunity for success is right in front of you. To attain success or to reach your goal, don't worry about having all the answers in advance. You just need to have a clear idea of your goal and move toward it. Don't procrastinate when faced with a difficult problem. Break your problems into parts and handle one part at a time. Develop a tendency toward action. You can make something happen today. Break your big plan for success into small steps and take the first step right away. Success starts with a first step. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

You don't need an explanation for everything. Recognize that there are such things as miracles, events for which there are no explanations. Later, knowledge may explain those events away. The fact that you plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's, smile at someone and receive a smile in return are common miracles. Your duty to yourself is to believe that for which you have sufficient evidence, and to suspend your judgement when you have not. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Some things have to be believed to be seen. Vision is the art of seeing invisible things. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

Your dilemma goes deeper than having a shortage of time, it's basically a problem of priorities. Most people leave undone those things that should be done, while they do things that they shouldn't be doing. Set priorities for your goals. A major part of successful living lies in your ability to put first things first. Most major goals are not achieved because people put second things first. Is what your doing getting you closer to your objectives? Anything that is wasted effort represents wasted time. Don't serve time, make time serve you. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

It's not what you have, but what you enjoy that constitutes your abundance. Your real riches are riches in your head and heart. Wealth without enjoyment is little consolation. True satisfaction comes from appreciating what you have. There are two ways of being happy: you must either diminish your wants or augment your means. It's always better to appreciate things you cannot have than to have the things you cannot appreciate. Your riches will always lie within you, not in your material possessions. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

You can not have success without dealing with problems. Look for your opportunity in every difficulty instead of being paralyzed at the thought of difficulty in every opportunity. Each new experience brings with it the seed of your success. Even your current difficulties have within them opportunity. Welcome your problems as opportunities. Each moment is your greatest challenge and the best thing that ever happened to you. The more difficult your problem, the greater the challenge in working it out. When it's dark enough, you can see the stars. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

The courage to begin separates dreamers from achievers. Your difficulty and the difficulty of everyone who ever desires to achieve anything worthwhile comes in the movement. Don't always be intending to live a new life but never find a time to begin living it. Most people fail because they never get started. They don't go they don't overcome inertia, they don't begin. Begin to free yourself at once by doing all that is possible with the means you have. As you proceed in this spirit, the way will open for you to do more. The worst you can do is not to try. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

When you give to others you'll find yourself blessed. The more you sow, the more you reap. It's a universal law: You have to give before you get. You must plant your seeds before you reap the harvest. The law works to give you back more than you have sown. He who obtains has little. He who scatters has much. Nature does not give to those who will not spend. You only get to keep what you give away. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

Loving your work makes the difference. If you enjoy what you do, you'll be successful. If you don't enjoy what you do, you won't be successful. Your chances for success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do. If you have a job you hate, face the fact squarely and get out. You'll never achieve real success unless you like what you are doing. Success in its highest and noblest form calls for peace of mind, enjoyment, and happiness which comes only when you find the work that you like best. You don't pay the price for success. You enjoy the price for success. Work is love made visible. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com

I may be able to help. I am meeting a lot of women both within the Braveheart community and without, and there seems to be a common thread that connects most of them....they've lost touch with who they are at their core and are unsure about their purpose in life. They know they want to help others, but they aren't quite sure how because they're not even sure how to help themselves. With each passing day I am becoming clearer on my purpose, and after a very powerful call I had last week I was reminded that my purpose is not about me, it is about you, the women I am meant to connect with. I've allowed my fears to stand in the way of the message I was given and the recipients who were meant to receive it. Had it not been for the very loving yet powerful words that were shared with me during that phone call from a mentor and business colleague last week, I would not be as clear as I am now. My mission and my purpose is not about me. Never has been. Never will be. I have something extremely powerful to share with other women that can have a positive impact on their lives...it is certainly moving my life in ways that I didn't expect but am so grateful for the changes. I'd like to share this with you. Again, I am simply the messenger whose purpose is to put this message in front of you as a gift. What you choose to do with the gift is completely up to you, and I bless you and honor your decision either way. Again, it's not about me. If you would like to open this gift and determine if it is a message that is meant for you at this time in your life, or not, I invite you to join me today on a live presentation at 6 p.m. EST/3 p.m. PST. When asked to do so, please say that you were invited by Kitara Wilson. I will be standing by waiting to say hello. : ) Here is the link to the presentation: http://www.instantpresenter.com/discovercompass1 I thank you for reading this and it is my hope that this message reaches the right women in the right way at the right time. Be Blessed Everyone, Kitara

Be an optimist and try to see the opportunity in every misfortune, not a pessimist that sees misfortune in every opportunity. The optimist sees the doughnut, the pessimist sees the hole. You can develop success from every failure. Discouragement and failure are two stepping stones to success. No other elements can do so much for you if you're willing to study them and make them work for you. View every problem as an opportunity. When it is dark enough, you can see the stars. © 2010 YourDailyMotivation.com
