MANY BEGINNINGS

I seem to have more then one started knitting project. I allow myself to have that luxury, without any guilt.
I know when a project is no longer supporting my joy. I put it down...with love...Each started project gets a special, beautiful, knitting bag .to wait for my right time to come...
I then allow myself to move on to another project...

First I honor my prenatal basket and hover over it till I am inspired...If that doesn't work I pick one of my favorite tools.. Close my eyes and
BREATHE..DEEPLY..Take a walk...Just let it GO.
When I return to MY BASKET I reach in and I have my next project.
Knitting is my passion and I will always be happy when I am knitting. Otherwise what is the point??????

I apply this formula to my LIFE...
I have the right to Happiness and Joy, when people places and situations don't support ME.
I move on with LOVE...at least for the moment.
I stay in the moment, that's all I have.

FRUSTRATION & ANGER

When I am not understanding the instructions...AND, I realize, as I did just now with my new project, "I have been knitting it wrong."
My first thought is.... "I have wasted all this time...now I have to rip it all out.". Anger & Frustration takes over. My body gets tight. Negative thoughts and feeling consume me.

These negative thoughts and feelings, are harmful and not productive.... ......SOO I put my PROJECT down, and I leave the area...

I take a walk, whatever, takes me physically away, AND I BREATHE .and Close my eyes.
Just a few deep breaths and I feel my body relax, I find my negative thoughts gone. I open my eyes and I SEE CLEARLY.
After the negative thoughts dissipate, and my body is relaxed, I can pick up the wounded project and do what I have to do to create, OR I might just decide to put it aside and go to another project...I have choices AND with Positive ATTITUDE...MY CHOICES WORK FOR ME.

I ALWAYS come to the conclusion, I have not wasted my time, for reasons not known to me at this moment, it happened. Could be so many reasons....(pay more attention to instructions, etc.) or NO reason AT All.

FORMULA: Physically remove myself from the situation, AND

LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH

Creation starts with the yarn...the roots the seeds the foundation.

Where I buy my yarn is very important to supporting the integrity of my foundation. The shop energy must support ME. That is tool #1 in on my list. My project starts with the shop and the people in it.


My knitting projects are creations of art and an expression, and extention of ME..My love and energy are infused in every stitch.

I want the same in living my Life, so I apply my #1 formula.

The LAW OF ATTRACTION. I set my intention often, especially before I answer a phone or get into the car or walk through a door. I stand in my positive foundation.
My awareness and my desire to be the best I can BE...is a direct result of my PASSION for KNITTING.

New Projects

For me,Starting a new piece of work...is exciting, and energizing, and filled with anticipation, however, I know from experience the outcome is unknown...Yes, I envision the finished product ...But between the ME the yarn and the needles????????? there is the road, thePROCESS. I set my intention
and let the needles "fly", with FAITH in the outcome.

I apply this formula to my life...INTENTION....FAITH in the PROCESS and FAITH in the outcome..


The sweater pictured is fabulous, I love it. It looks great on me...Who would know that one of the sleeves is attached backwards????????????


I was horrified when I realized...


Of course I was advised by the "seasoned knitters" "You are not going to leave it like that"....
I looked at them and said
size one needles..( very small stitches) ...(11 rows to the inch)... Yes,I accept it exactly the way it is.
Some times a mistake is PERFECT.


I EMBRACE MY LIFE all PARTS of IT.

IN THE BEGINNING PRENATAL

There is always a beginning...a new project starts with a thought, a visual, or a feeling.
In fact I have prenatal projects...
Yarn and fiber that I have to buy...just to look at and touch.
No specific project attached to the yarn.
These yarns are in baskets within eye view.
These are my projects waiting to come into BEING.
This realization manifests into my life. I, NOW can give myself permission to sit in NOTHINGNESS, enjoying the luxury. I call these days and moments "my vacation days."
It is a good feeling to have nothing to do and not have a crowded Head.
When I empty I leave the space for NEW.
In my life I was taught to be productive...I always had to be DOING SOMETHING.
Now I know there are times in my life I need to be to just sit in the Prenatal State of Mind, and allow myself to be in "Empty" Mode"
AND THIS IS GOOD.
I am like my baskets of yarn waiting patiently for a project to manifest itself.
SEEDS in the Baskets...
Seeds in my Head waiting for the fertilizer.
