Often I notice qualities that others possess as ones I too wish to have in greater degrees to assist in my blossoming. Funny thing is once we fully embody a quality in our unique way we can overlook it and not recognize the quality as a gift.

The qualities we long for can be ours too. I think of qualities being like the “mother” culture in sour dough breads. A part of the alive culture known as the “mother dough” can be transferred to make another batch, giving the new leavened bread the same qualities and flavor.

No wonder we view the admired qualities of others as gifts. This metaphor shows us that we can have these qualities for our self in much the same way as leaven bread receives the "mother". Also, having the same qualities as others might explain why we resonate more with some people than others.

When we believe that the qualities found in others is not attainable for our self there is a tendency for our humanness to feel inferior and even resent the person for having something we don’t feel we can have. We can feel denied. This feeling of being denied can result in all kinds of inferior thoughts stemming from self-criticism and judgment. This way of viewing our situation results in further isolation and separateness.

I have noticed that my awareness of an admired quality within another person naturally occurs right about the time in my blossoming where it is required. Qualities have all kinds of characteristics and so I might have some and not so much others. So it feels like the degree in which I notice the lack is the amount I require. The thing is not to intellectualize this. For when we are relaxed and better yet in an oxytocin state we can naturally take on the quality. The “mother” within a quality is a vibration frequency and pattern that we allow our self to take on.

Knowing how to embody the qualities I admire and want is very liberating for me. It is the trues form of collaboration I know. Life experiences are where the quality is expressed expanding the “mother” into all aspects of myself and beyond into my world. I am blessed to have so many of you illuminating naturally your qualities as leaven for my expansion. Thank you!

A mastermind is a perfect place to expand and blossom!

Do you recall as a youngster the pain in your legs and being reassured that it is only “growing pain” and then later to look back and see how much you actually did grow?
So why is it that we judge the pain in our life as bad when it is a natural occurrence in growth? Maybe it is because we need to be reminded that we are going through a “growth spurt” and it is only “growing pain”.

The not knowing can make the pain feel more intense because in my life it results from clenching up and resisting. Why do I resist? Well mostly it is because I lack faith that it is all purposeful. Also in the momentum I am moving beyond points in my life, “ouch”. These pointy parts in my life are things that I believe I need to hang onto and yet sitting on them to keep them in place is a pain in the butt. Things like: who I think I am, who I believe is right in my life or wrong in my life, what I think I am capable of and not, my ideas of how to interact in order to get what I think I need…

When I was a kid I remember my mom giving me a hot water bottle to help ease the pain in my legs. There are many ways I can help myself move through the “growing pain”.

The warmth of being in the company of compassionate people who “hold the space” knowing that I will emerge taller by having moved beyond my more limited self, is helpful. This is another reason I appreciate masterminds (you may have to move outside of the box you put masterminds into in order to appreciate what a mastermind offers). To read more on “pain relief” for “growth spurts” follow me over to the Mastermind Grove, “where we pollinate ideas” here in BraveHeart:

Hello sisters,

I have been noticing that I have fewer thoughts than I previously had. Well actually it feels like I now have 10% of what I used to have a couple of decades ago (wow, this is amazing). It has been a gradual shift. In my noticing and having more space to notice, I wondered why but because I am not in the place of over thinking about things like I used to it stayed a question.

I love having this space where there is room for awareness; awareness that I may have missed before in all the thought clutter. I have recently become aware of why I may have fewer thoughts than before....

I have come to realize that following “my calling” is really following the echo of my own call, my asking.

I heard the call and felt it within me and yet I thought it was coming from beyond me. So I called back, again and again until I finally knew from where it came.

Wow, how empowering it is to know that all along “my calling” is a self-fulfilled prophecy (perhaps started beyond this life).

What are the qualities? What is the purpose(s)? What is asking to be expressed? What is it about this time that is right for experiencing “my calling”? How do I move into living “my calling”? Why do I feel being in a sisterhood such as Brave Heart Women is vital to my experiencing the nature of “my calling” and the realization of its content? What is the significance of feminine energy in living “my calling”? These are all inquiries that have been prompted as I accept “my calling” as my own invention.

Now that I have discovered that I am “my call”, I have come to realize what “my call” was asking for is already within me. All I needed to know was that it was here all along. The gap between what I had been experiencing and the living “my calling” never really existed. All that was required was to accept that each component within my life is purposeful in the manifestation process or the activation process (living my next grander version of myself that “my calling” was asking for).

How are you experiencing “your calling”?

Our budding ideas section in the Mastermind Grove here within Brave Heart has become a place where we can “pollinate ideas for fruition”.

Delightfully yours,

Debby

When I was in Shanghai in 2008 the vehicle packed streets overwhelmed me. I was amazed at how pedestrians could cross heavy traffic without me witnessing an accident. What I noticed was that the pedestrians matched their timing energy to the timing energy of the traffic and stayed within a predictable path as they weaved through the vehicles of all sizes and shapes. There were no sudden surprising moves for the drivers to react to. I feel that this traffic lesson can transfer over to how I experience and manage my small-self while my higher-self leads me into unfamiliar terrain.

Faith also requires me, my small self, to not just sit and wait for my higher-self to set up camp but to participate on the journey. If I get excited and anxious by focusing on scary things along the way I will create disturbances that will likely result in me tripping or running into something. I will miss the next divine move. I now watch and respond to the traffic of my life, with people and events appearing, in faith on purpose knowing that the universe has the traffic occur in divine order, even if I can’t see how it all fits and works.

Masterminding helps me view the traffic of my life from a higher vantage point and the energy of those aligned to the mastermind supports me in safely crossing the busy streets of my calling.

Imagine being parachuted onto an unfamiliar busy city street. Everything feels chaotic as things appear before you. You may have an idea of where you want to be but you have no reference to how to get there.

This is how it can feel when we know deep within us that we have a mission or purpose along with desires but we don’t know how to attain them because we have never been there before. During this time we can become fearful that we might make a wrong move, so we do nothing while we wait for more clarity. Sometimes we become impatient and we think others know what we need. Going outside of ourselves can get us lost. However, staying isolated closes us off from receiving insight and inspiration for direction.

There is an effective route for moving enthusiastically with more confidence through the unfamiliar streets of your life. This route is found in the masterminding activity. Don’t let the words “master" and "mind” throw you off. They are strong words that can intimidate many of us women. The quality of strength found in a mastermind is determined by the quality of hearts of those associated with them. Ellie teaches us that feminine energy is strong and very powerful. Feminine masterminding is a powerful and effective way to help you live your purpose and desires.

There is no special preparation you need in advance in order to participate in a mastermind, so allow yourself to progress, with greater confidence knowing you are supported, by joining a mastermind.

I invite you to join me, Debby, in the Mastermind Grove here within BraveHeart Women: www.mastermindgrove.com. “Where we pollinate ideas for fruition.”

Transitioning to anything at times can feel like I got stuck on a crowded bus, where I am over dressed, there is little ventilation and I am fatigued by balancing and supporting the weight of my baggage on my knees. No wonder we can be grumpy during these times. 2012 for many of us is a time of transition. If we reflect back we know we made the commitment to change (including spiritual ones) so why are we so surprised by the adjustments that are being made in our lives? Including adjustments to our body, our mind, emotions, relationships and roles.

I have found that it can be a long uncomfortable ride if I think I can bring everything along. Attachments to how other people should be or ideas of how I view myself are only a sample of what I have packed. Worrying if I can handle the changes makes me bundle up more and pant with fear.

The commitment to change is a type of goal. It can be like putting a perishable in the fridge and knowing if you don’t use it up by the expiry date you will miss out. The pressure begins to build. I have to do something about this. I need to make plans and organize. I need to control my schedule and for that matter my husband and everyone else I know. Wow, it can just keep going from here. Soon you can’t even recall and feel why you wanted to make the change in the first place. Nor do you even care.

Haaaa…. This feminine movement within the Brave Heart Women community is teaching us that we can have our goals and they can come into fruition naturally with greater ease. As women we have the innate knowing but we have trouble accessing it consistently. Ellie and her community teach us how to become more attuned to this feminine wisdom and power that resides within our biology that is congruent with our purposes and spiritual connection.

I created the Mastermind Grove here in the Brave Heart Women community so that we sisters can have a place to learn more about this as it relates to us personally, within the safe and supportive environment created by generous loving progressive sisters.

Our society is really only beginning to be influenced by this powerful balancing of energies. It is time to be the change we want to see in the world. Doing it alone isn’t aligned to the feminine knowing. A mastermind is created by members and their hearts influence the quality of it. One of the big things we are learning in the Mastermind Grove is for our minds to serve our hearts. The learning is through life experiences shared. I invite you to join us and together we can discover and eventually master the art of directing our goals beautifully. Visit www.mastermindgove.com here in the Brave Heart Women community.

A motto naturally appears to me when I am going through intentional changes in my life and I am completely out of my comfort zone. It doesn’t describe my mission or purposes but it does serve me as a centering devise helping me stay on course and providing me with an expanded view from my higher self.

Do you use mottoes?

Usually my motto is condensed but I know what it means. For instance, the one that has recently appeared goes like this: “I am light and delight. I have faith that all is well and perfectly orchestrated.” This motto is reassuring me. It helps me to stay centered so that I can maintain composure while I am venturing forth experiencing myself in the new ways I have devoted myself to.

How else do mottoes serve us?

Delightfully yours,

Debby

Perhaps this happens to you too, where you wake up feeling disturbed and even grumpy. When we were kids we would hear our parents say that we woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I have noticed that this low mood can easily influence how my day progresses. It seems that it magnetizes things into my awareness that feel yucky. My brain is seeking out similar patterns and these mushrooming low vibration patterns are now contaminating my day and influencing how I react. They can also activate similar qualities in those people that I am interacting with. However, I don’t want to continue going down this road. So what can I do about it?

There are some preventative things I can do, especially when my practices are consistent and there for easily implemented. For instance, the practice of frequently checking in with myself to see how I am doing throughout my day. There are many techniques for helping oneself move into a better vibration that we can share with each other in the Mastermind Grove.

If I find myself in a low and poor vibration then judging it isn’t going to make it better. I can make peace with where I am and allow an Oxy breath. I like to stay still (“Be still and know I am”) and notice how my true state is of love and is much more expansive than being picky. Next I identify what is working in my life and why it is working for me. Doing this enquiry helps me to shift into a good vibe. Then I am in a more desirable vibration to make further enquiries as to what isn’t the way I want it to be and what would make it better and how I want to feel. From this good vibration I can attract inspired action and desirable circumstances.

Tell me and your sisters here about your experience magnetizing and how your vibration influences what you experience. I would also like to invite you to join some of your sisters and I in the Mastermind Grove where we are creating magnetic synergy for supporting one another in our blossoming.

Delightfully yours,

Debby
