In today's competitive world, and "politically correct' society, one is not supposed to talk about God in the workplace or mention Him in one's business statements. We are told that we should keep our relationship with God personal. I strongly disagree. God shines His light on those who believe in Him so that they can go out, to the ends of the world, to share that light with their brothers and sisters in humanity. This is why, I dared the world with my mission statement on my business website at www.arabictranslati onservices.net, on the About Us page. This is what I wrote: My Personal Mission Statement:

To work each day, knowing that God is by my side. To walk in my path in faith, honesty, selflessness, integrity and genuine love for people; To set a good example for others, and stand up for the right. To be a role model for my clients, my colleagues, my employees, and other companies' executives, and show them how God's light shines on those who obey Him and do His will on earth.

My prayer: Lord, always remind me that success, money and fame do not come to us, unless You willed it. Success comes from perseverance, but perseverance is a gift from You.

It has been little over four years since my brother lost his only daughter, Rawand, in a car accident, at the hands of another young woman who was driving under the influence. Her loss came only one month shy of her graduation from college. Her death came as a blow to us, her family, especially her father, who, until this day, cannot accept the loss. His sorrow and mine were going to either suffocate me to death or had to come out of my system, in a more constructive way. That was when I decided to put my passion for writing into action. The outcome was my children story "Daddy, Please Don't Cry."

I won't be exaggerating if I say that I wrote the book with tears, instead of ink. I cried buckets of tears as I was writing the book. I continue to cry every time I read it. Because I could not find a publisher to publish for a first time writer, I had to self publish. In my heart, I wish I can place this book in the hands of every child to help him/her cope with the death of a loved one and to make him/her see heaven and God's promise of eternal life through my eyes. However, it is not easy, and may I add, cheap to publicize a book. Though it is on Amazon.com, and has received 6 five star reviews, I am finding it hard to sell the book and put in the hands of those who face the death of a loved one. If anyone has a suggestion for me, please let me know. I must add though that my book is based on my Christian faith and on Christ's promises to humanity.
